It was going to be impossible to compete with the ocean yeeting from last week, so Anakin went in a completely different direction today, with twelve individual tables set up around the park. On the tables were an electric hot plate (plugged in via extension cords that were definitely tripping hazards), a small bowl, a pot that didn't sit level, a coffee mug, a dull chef's knife, a metal soup spoon, a spatula, a chopping board, and a plate.

In the center of the clearing was one rice cooker, one microwave, one ice cream maker, and a variety of fruits and vegetables. There were protein choices inside the fridge under the table holding the small appliances.

Anakin, wearing an Kiss the Cook (but tacky) apron, waved at the ~~incoming victims~~ inhabitants as they arrived. "Today we're mastering the art of cooking in a dormitory. Well, a dormitory not as good as the ones here. Cooking in a bad bachelor apartment! Using only the equipment I have provided, make a savory dish that would impress a first date. You'll have an hour. Halfway through I will pair you up and you will work together to make a dessert. Listen for your name and come grab your apron!"

Worrisomely, the park was empty today aside from a sign that directed everyone to the beach. When they arrived, they would find a huge wooden scaffolding at least 30 feet high (somewhere, an Olypmic platform diving squad was wondering where their stuff had gone) next to the water. In the water was a blue and gold inflatable as long as the scaffolding was high. Further out were ropes marking distance from the inflatable blob.

Everyone have a horrifying mental image of what was going to happen here? Good!

"I have returned after foraging for parts last week," Anakin lied through the megaphone. He'd been a cat. "And we are trying out an all new event! You will climb to the top of the scaffolding and jump down onto the inflatable! This will launch the person at the other end of it into the air! Whoever launches someone the furthest wins! The launchee will also receive points for style before hitting the water."

The points get you nothing. You win nothing. "After you have launched your island mate, you crawl to the launch zone and you get launched by the person behind you. This will be fun."

Possibly only for spectators.

"Come get your rash guards and life jackets, if necessary. Listen for your names!"

Any rain in the forecast seemed to be holding off while the events in the park were happening, which was lucky! The last thing anyone wanted was to do this in the rain. Not because it would make the event harder but because people might not come out and watch.

It was Jaina starting things off again, bullhorn in hand not because she needed it but because she liked it.

She was standing in the middle of a large tape circle, where several differently colored bins were situated in evenly spaced spots at the edge. Above Jaina was a good number of soccer balls, hanging in the air, levitated by the Force. It wasn't her showing off but there was really no easy way to hang things from air, you know?

"No teams today, guys!" she announced through the bullhorn. "It's going to be simple: the balls will drop, and you have to collect as many as you can and put them in your bin until there are no balls left. You can't use powers and you can't take anything from someone else's bin. if a ball goes out of bounds, it's not in play anymore. It's every person for themselves for three rounds."

And she read out this week's names.

It was...well, not Tatooine hot because the humidity was so high that Anakin felt like he could chew the air...but that sweet spot of unbearable that Maryland got as July slid into August and no one with a modicum of sense was going to be outside.

(Well, a few were outside, and Anakin knew better than to wonder if Jaina had any sense.)

He'd turned the park into an ode to summer water activities. The slip 'n slides were back, spewing water instead of alcoholic beverages, and aimed at landing in the pond. There was an arsenal of water guns waiting for all takers, an ice cream truck with an incredibly loud, incredibly perky song that wouldn't.stop.playing (maybe if you threatened them with the water guns?) and free treats for anyone who asked, and a beach volleyball court set up because there was always (generally one of the Steves, sometimes both of the Steves) needing some sort of ridiculously athletic activity to participate in.

Anakin, for his part, had ditched the Jedi robes in favor of shorts (oh, the legs, they were so pale), sunglasses, and a trashy sci-fi novel, and was sitting by the pond with his feet in the water with no bullhorn or horrifying t-shirt pile to be seen.

"Relax," he told everyone as they arrived. "There's no trick today."

That would probably not stop people for looking for the trick, but that was because they'd known Anakin for more than ten minutes.

Anakin was still not a cat! And he had ~~stolen~~ requisitioned the slip 'n slides from Paintball yesterday and set them up in roughly a triangle shape.

With bases between them. Because Anakin also still didn't know how baseball worked.

The bad news? The slip 'n slides were covered in baby oil and mudslide cocktail mix (because his order for mud had been misinterpreted. Watch out for the squirrels who'd definitely been licking the slip 'n slides.)

The good news? Your teams are in costumes made to protect you as you slide!

Well. Sort of. Anakin had gotten into the Japanese mascots again.

"Today we shall be playing slip 'n slide kickball!" Anakin told the unfortunates caught in the park this morning. "Listen for your names!"

Especially when there seemed to be a small obstacle course set up in the park, so.

"Welcome!" Jaina began, through a megaphone because if he got to use one, she wanted one too. "We're going to do a little obstacle course today. Nothing to be afraid of."

Today there was a ring of chairs in the middle of the park, so that was fine. Musical chairs was a very normal game to play!

Of course, this was Anakin...

"By popular demand, we're bringing back playing Musical Shares!" Anakin announced through his completely superfluous megaphone. And no one had asked for this game again. "It will be one giant team building exercise!"

That seemed ominous. "Come get your shirts!"

Ohhhh, they were so pink and perky.

Today's games were not being held in the park, which should have been a red flag. Fortunately, Anakin has provided a red flag!

Twenty feet up.

At the end of a very gross-looking wooden pole dangling over Serenity Cove.

"Today you're all out of for yourselves," Anakin yelled from the top of recycled scaffolding, which had a 40-foot long greased up telephone pole balanced between it about 20 feet up. "Many thanks to our local bars and restaurants for providing the lard, grease, fish guts, Crisco and bacon fat to really lube this thing up. The rules are simple," Anakin said. "Whoever gets across the pole and reaches the flag wins all you can eat at Mooby Burger for a week!" Whether Mooby Burger was a good prize or not was entirely up to the winners. "You may walk, run, or slide your way across, but you may not use supernatural powers."

"And thank you in advance for volunteering!"

Which was news to those volunteers.

"Come and grab your t-shirts Flint, Luma, Jaina, Belle, Lydia, Eleanor, Stewart, Vi, Don, Steve R., Raiden, Sabine, and Steph."

Good morning, everyone! The sun was shining, the weather was getting pleasantly warm and Anakin had set himself up in the park with a bullhorn and a bunch of giant plastic storage containers full of liquids. Ice water, orange soda, chocolate pudding, the leftover slime...

Surely this will end well for everybody!

"Today you will participate in the ten toes challenge!" Anakin announced. "Working in teams, you will lay on your backs and balance these containers on your socked feet. Then, going in a circle, you must each take off one sock, then the other, without tipping the liquid onto yourselves. It's about teamwork!"

And gravity. And Anakin's personal amusement.

"Come down when I call your name and get your team socks!" He grinned. "Oh, and no powers, please. That takes away the fun."

The fun for the audience.

Anakin was surrounded by rubber chickens and harmonicas. Completely normal Wednesday, right? There were also t-shirts, blindfolds, and two pool noodles.

Anakin picked up his megaphone. "We will be playing a modified version of tag! All but two of you will be wearing rubber chickens on your feet." As you do.

Anakin held up the rubber chicken. It squeaked menacingly. "Half of you will also have harmonicas in your mouths. Your goal is to remain silent so that the blindfolded swatters can not discover you and hit you with their pool noodle."

This seemed wholesome.

"Listen for your names and then come get your shirts!"

He smiled. "Kitty and Gladio, come retrieve your blindfolds and pool noodles. You're it."

And then he rattled off everyone else who was playing, and if they also got a harmonica in their mouths:

Everyone was back in the park today, with several stations set up around the area: one with buckets suspended in the air with numbers hanging from them, one with six tables covering up lumpy objects with checked tablecloths, and most intriguingly/disturbingly, a waffle iron on a stool in the center of a red circular rug.

"Welcome to Shenanigans!" Anakin announced. "Today you will be working in small groups today as you make your way around a variety of team building activities! Listen for your names!"

Good morning, everyone! It's time for another summer of Anakin Skywalker Thinks This Teaches Team Building and But Mostly Amuses Himself!

Or "Shenanigans."

The bleachers for viewing were set up in the park, close to the pond and near the Belthazor Commemorative Divot. Food vendors had arrived with hot dogs, popcorn, and rum for the squirrels. And coffee. Just...so much coffee. Huge flatscreens were set up facing the bleachers, which gave people a hint that today's event would not just stay inside the park, and the cameras were trained at...well, ankle height or the sky for now because squirrels and rum.

Anakin and his bullhorn were standing behind a folding table stacked high with brightly patterned shirts, and people who had been here before knew that just because the shirts were free, it never, ever meant you wanted to wear them.

"GOOD MORNING!" he boomed through the completely unnecessary bullhorn when enough people were gathered. "Welcome to another summer of team building activities!"

He might be waiting for a while if he was expecting cheers, just saying.

"Today, as has become tradition, we shall conduct a relay race around the island to acquaint you newcomers with where things are!" he said. "Please listen as your name is called and then come up for your team-building clothing."

AKA: ugly Hawaiian shirts.

"You'll be in--" he did a mental headcount at the number of people in the park, "--two groups of 11. Listen for your names!"

"Hello, everyone!" Anakin boomed through the megaphone as people arrived. "It's the middle of August in Maryland, which is just the best time of year if you love being sticky, hot, and mosquito bitten!"

You should really work for the tourism board, Anakin.

"So today we will engage in activities that will take your mind off of such things!" He gestured grandly around the park. "Extreme pinball!"

Oh dear.

There was a pinball games set up inside of the slide, so you will have to insert your body up the down spout of the tube to play. There was one game set on a raft in the center of the lake. There was a pinball machine powered by riding a bike, another one on the ground that you had to play using your feet, and a final one you had to don Drunk Goggles to play.

"Volunteers, listen for your names and retrieve your shirts!"

Well, the pond was green. Melted crayon green, not pond scum green. Anakin--who had spent entirely too much time watching the Olympics the past few weeks--could work with this! Everyone knew how to kayak, right?

But there was also new food in town, so there would be an eating contest, too. Because balance was important.

"Hello, Fandom, and welcome to Chicago!" he boomed through the megaphone. "Listen for your names!"

He was feeling indulgent today, so the list of voluntolds was relatively short (and the shirts were great):

It was sticky and gross outside, so it was probably a relief to see four dunk tanks out in the grass by the duck pond, right?

Right?

Did it help to know they were filled with water and not pudding? Not really? Understandable.

"Today we're playing a variation on Telestrations to improve our communication skills!" Anakin declared. "Each team member will take a turn in the dunk tank. I will give them a prompt of a word or phrase they must draw in 45 seconds. They will then hand their drawing to their teammate, who will guess what they've drawn and write that on the piece of paper, and cover up the drawing. The third team member then gets 45 seconds to draw what the second team member has written, and the final team member must guess what the third team member has drawn. If it is the prompt I gave originally, no one gets wet. If not, the first team mate goes into the water. Then everyone switches places!"

If, by the end, people are just guessing badly to get people wet, Anakin would not be terribly shocked. "Listen for your names and retrieve your outfits!" That's right, there's not just a shirt this week! There's also shorts and a bucket hat. You were so lucky.

A Double Dare-style obstacle course, complete with green slime everywhere. Weren't you excited? It doesn't matter. Anakin's excited enough for all of you. He now owned a One-Ton Human Hamster Wheel. "Today's game will be a timed event!" Anakin said. "You will be divided into five groups of four. You must each complete two obstacles on this course. Fastest team wins. You may not use your powers to find the hidden flags. Listen for your names!''

You were probably not nearly as thrilled about it as Cal and Arden, who'd helped set up said theme. Ohhhh, it was gonna be great!*

"Welcome!" Anakin called out as people arrived. "Today we will have only two teams led by Cal and Arden." Their shirts might be a clue about what ~~horrors~~ fun awaited you! "There is a fascinating scientific event happening on this continent right now, and while it is not impacting us fully, I believe we should embrace learning about the fascinating cicada, which has any number of useful traits."

He smiled. "For instance, did you know that it's extremely nutritious?"

Anakin, why are you like this.

"We will begin with a relay race and end with a game of skill!" Was Flip Cup really a game of skill? Guess we'll find out! "Listen for your names! You may not use your powers."

Was anyone looking slightly worried about the pantry ingredients and refrigerated chests Anakin had hauled out the park? Good. You should be worried. There were also three cooking stations set up, and three stacks of terrible, eye-searing shirts in front of Anakin.

Someone stop him from watching food competitions shows into the early hours, gang. "Today will be a cook off!" he announced far-too-loudly through the megaphone. "As always you will work in teams. Your teams will be divided into pairs and as that pair you will work on an appetizer, then tag in the next pair to complete a main dish, and finally your third team pair will make a dessert!"

That seemed too easy.

"You will be bound together like a three-legged race."

There we go.

"And while the food supplies are overwhelming in the choices available to you, the only equipment you have will be what you would find in a typical college freshman's dorm, or in the home of a recently divorced man. Listen for your names! Don't use your powers!"

Anakin was feeling particularly inspired today, which was why when people arrived for Shenanigans (or made their ill-advised way through the park not realizing it was a Wednesday), they would find a baseball field set up between the playground and the pond. The bleachers had been placed around it so everyone could live out their sudden need to watch a baseball game! The only tiny, tiny problem with this set-up? Anakin had absolutely no idea how baseball worked. Yes, he'd lived on Earth for twenty years. Yes, he'd married a person from Earth. But really, if you looked at Rory and thought "now there's a sports fan," well, that's entirely your mistake.

The field was correct--home plate, pitchers mound, three bases in a diamond--but everything else would get a little haywire. It was Shenanigans, you couldn't expect otherwise, could you?

"Welcome to Shenanigans!" Anakin yelled through the as-always unnecessary bullhorn. "Today we shall be divided into two baseball teams! Instead of shirts, you shall be receiving mascot outfits! I understand that is the real reason to attend a baseball game! Listen for your names, change into your baseball outfits--" sure, Anakin, go with that, "--and then I will explain the rules!"

This would go great.

"--and so I have brought them back again. Listen for your name. You cannot use powers today for any of the events. You can, however, take suggestions from your teammates!"

Though how helpful a teammate will be while you're painting a picture of an alot while riding an alot was anyone's guess, really.

Even if said activities looked suspiciously like giant cat toys. Sometimes it was harder to shake off the transformations than others. "You will run in teams through this obstacle course--" of giant cat toys, "--and then get tuna for a reward."

He blinked, catching that part as being not quite correct.

"And then you shall receive no reward other than the satisfaction of a job well done!"

Had the pond in the middle of the park always looked so pool-like? Absolutely not, but today it had a water slide, a diving board, and far too many pool floats.

"It's too hot and humid to think," Anakin, wearing swim trunks and sunglasses and lounging in one of the lawn chairs he'd ~~totally made someone else~~ placed around the water, "and I hate the sand around the beach, so--" he waved his hand, "pool day. Sort of. Relax. Swim. For those of you--and I know who you are, McGarrett--who can't sit still for more than five minutes, I've set up some lawn games. If you knock the croquet ball into the pond, you're going fishing for it."

He closed his eyes again. "Get your new shirts."

"Welcome to Fandom Gladiator," Anakin said. "Early thanks to Rosa for already procuring all of the event equipment. Today you will be divided into two teams--Gold and Blue--to fight for the glory of the island."

Or something.

"Since the costumes are more elaborate--" that was one was of looking at it, "--I have also added changing areas, and mirrors to adjust your wigs."

No amount of adjustment would make these work, gang. Just look at Beaker. It was a looooost cause.

"Have fun, don't get hurt! Powers are allowed."

Which might negate the "don't get hurt" clause slightly.

It was important to get it out there.

When ~~the poor schmucks~~ Fandom arrived in the park on Wednesday, they would see five wooden rafts, big enough to each hold four people (or Muppets, or a Sidon), bobbing on the pond. In the center of each raft was a metal bucket full of objects. Some were balloon-shaped, some were ball-shaped, others were clearly shoes. One looked suspiciously like Intern Porg.

(Do not throw Intern Porg.)

"In honor of break week, we are doing something that didn't require much effort on my part to set up," Anakin said, which was pretty straight-forward of him. "We're doing a balloon-ish toss! Pick an object, toss it to your teammate on the next raft over. Do not miss, or break the object! Fastest team to get all the way around the circuit wins."

He grinned. "Powers may be used today. And there are plenty of objects in the buckets. No one says you have to only toss things at your own teammates."

Sometimes Anakin just liked to watch the world burn.

Anakin was surrounded by rubber chickens and harmonicas. Completely normal Wednesday, right? There were also t-shirts, blindfolds, and two coconut brooms.

Anakin picked up his megaphone. "Today will be very different!" he proclaimed. "We will be playing two modified versions of tag. Everyone will be barefoot. All but two of you will be wearing rubber chickens on your feet."

Anakin held up the rubber chicken. It squeaked menacingly. "Half of you will also have harmonicas in your mouth. Your goal is to remain silent so that your blindfolded swatter can not discover you and hit you with their broom."

This seemed wholesome.

Today's games were not being held in the park, which should have been a red flag. Fortunately, Anakin has provided a red flag!

Twenty feet up.

At the end of a very gross-looking wooden pole danging over Serenity Cove.

"Today you're all out of for yourselves," Anakin yelled from the top of recycled scaffolding, which had a 40-foot long greased up telephone pole balanced between it about 20 feet up. "Many thanks to our local bars and restaurants for providing the lard, grease, fish guts, Crisco and bacon fat to really lube this thing up."

Beaker, covered in said grossness, looked decidedly less grateful.

"The rules are simple," Anakin said. "Whoever gets across the pole and reaches the flag wins all you can eat at Mooby Burger for a week!" Whether Mooby Burger was a good prize or not was entirely up to the winners. "You may walk, run, or slide your way across, but you may not use supernatural powers."

"And thank you in advance for volunteering!"

Which was news to those volunteers.

"Pick up your t-shirts--" Anakin did not realize that his shirts were a Philadelphia sports reference, "--and listen for your names!"

Oh boy.

"Vi, Eleanor, Beaker, Summer, Isabella, Steve R, Guillermo, Jon, Beta, Stark, TJ, Eddie, Jane, Graham, Belle, Steph, Steve M, Libby, and Alara! Come on over!"

Today the park was set up with a stage in the center of it, which should have been everyone's first warning. There was also a small herd? committee? congress? of gremlins--looking surly--standing on that stage. There was also some slightly repetitive background music to let you know what sort of fiendishness Anakin had in store today.

"Hello!" he boomed through the megaphone from...nowhere near the stage. Because Skywalkers and gremlins don't mix. "Today is everyone's favorite--" debatable, "--summer game: Gremlin Fashion Show! Today, inspired by the Eurovision Song Contest, you will be recreating iconic Eurovision stage looks for our lovely models."

One of the gremlins snapped their teeth at him.

"...right," Anakin said, taking another step away from the stage. "You will be working in five teams of four. You have been given inspiration photographs and all the ~~handwavy~~ supplies you will need at each table. I suggest splitting into costume creators and gremlin wranglers, but that division of labor is entirely up to you. You will not, unfortunately, be getting your own shirts this week, but feel free to use the costume inspiration to make your own visual representations of team unity."

There was zero chance of that happening, Anakin. " Listen for your names!" he yelled, trailing off as Beaker, in full sexy milkmaid attire, rolled along the grass in a hamster ball that tipped over and caught fire. "I'll just go deal with that," he added.

Good morning, everyone! It's time for another summer of Anakin Skywalker Thinks This Teaches Team Building and But Mostly Amuses Himself!

Or "Shenanigans."

The bleachers for viewing were set up in the park, close to the pond and near the Belthazor Commemorative Divot. Food vendors, remembering how this worked, had arrived with hot dogs, popcorn, and rum for the squirrels. And coffee. Just...so much coffee. Huge flatscreens were set up facing the bleachers, which gave people a hint that today's event would not just stay inside the park, and the cameras were trained at...well, ankle height or the sky for now because squirrels and rum.

Anakin and his bullhorn were standing behind a folding table stacked high with brightly patterned shirts, and people who had been here before knew that just because the shirts were free, it never, ever meant you wanted to wear them.

"GOOD MORNING!" he boomed through the completely unnecessary bullhorn when enough people were gathered. "Welcome to another summer of team building activities!"

He might be waiting for a while if he was expecting cheers, just saying.

"Today, as has become tradition, we shall conduct a relay race around the island to acquaint you newcomers with where things are!" he said. "Please listen as your name is called and then come up for your team-building clothing."

AKA: ugly Hawaiian shirts.

"You'll be in three groups of six."

"Today we're splitting into two teams for some table surfing!" Anakin announced with the sort of enthusiasm that said he would not be participating in this insanity. "The rules are simple: one team member rides the table, two others hold the table steady and the rest of you get underneath it to move it along the Slip 'n Slides and to the end of the course!"

That sounded really painful, Anakin.

Anakin's children had outgrown a summer slide obstacle course years ago, but it didn't mean it wasn't stuck in the back of his brain as an option for ~~torture~~ team building.

When everyone arrived at the park, they'd find a rickety-on-purpose wooden bridge across the duck/flamingo pond, an entire line of inflatable hurdles being sprayed by sprinklers, some kind of ring toss with a water cannon pointed at where the participants would be standing, and a Slip 'n Slide that would really serve no purpose other than to remind adults that gravity exists and they shouldn't be on a Slip 'n Slide past the age of about ten.

"Today we're running an obstacle course!" he said. At least it was stupidly humid outside, so getting wet wasn't a hardship. "Fastest through wins! No power usage! Listen for your names!"

"Today you will learned the distinctive summer sport of beer pong!" Anakin yelled through the loud speaker. "Of course, this being a school-sponsored activity, there will not be beer in the cups. There will be a variety of sodas and seltzers instead."

Oh yeah, he said seltzers.

"Working in teams of two, your goal is to land ping pong balls into the ten cups--and drink those cups' contents--before the other team does! Listen for your names!"

The park was space themed today (thanks for the help, squirrels). For a given and confusing value of “space themed.” There was a space-themed inflatable obstacle course. There were star and planet decorations hung up everywhere (who had hung them up? Possibly squirrels). There were little toy spaceships. There was a large inflatable pool full of very dark and glittery jello.

The only thing missing today was Anakin. In his place was Stark, looking a bit lost even though he’d somehow planned all of this. Actually, the megaphone was missing as well. Stark was just going to yell instead.

“Anakin isn’t here but he wanted me to do this. I don’t know why. I don’t know why he does anything.” Did anyone truly understand Anakin’s motivations?

“We have 4 different activities today. An obstacle course. Stomp rockets. Planetary rings. And…jello.” Everyone, be sure to thank Summer for activity number 4!

There was a definite smell of grease in the air along the beach that should worry anyone who'd every experienced one of Anakin's Wednesdays before, and that was only if they didn't notice the enormous, greased-up pole resting between two wooden scaffolds about ten feet above the water.

Or the greased-up pigs in a pen.

Or the greased-up flag pole.

Anakin liked a theme, that's what we're saying here.

"Today is all about adaptation!" Anakin yelled into the bullhorn when everyone had arrived. "Your teams have to attempt--individually--get get across the pole in the water and then up the flag pole. Your times, should anyone complete these tasks--will be added together, along with your efforts in the pairs greased pig collecting competition. Fastest team wins."

Who took Anakin to a county fair. Really.

The park today looked like an insane person with a ridiculous love of bunting had been allowed to go absolutely nuts setting up mazes.

(In related news, Beaker had been consulted for ideas.)

There were four main areas ~~of concern~~: a maze with four wheelie recycling bins set before it; a series of folding tables with a variety of fruit and implements on top of them; two large fences with roughly 300 rubber ducks perched on top of them (and a velvet rope 100 feet away from it); and a final maze of bunting with a chair in the center of it.

In the center of all of this mess was a large shed with a closed door.

Anakin looked extremely pleased with himself as he leaned against the Table o' Terrible T-Shirts.

"Welcome back!" he yelled into his bullhorn. "I am pleased to see such enthusiasm for our weekly community building activities."

Anakin was back in his accustomed spot in the center of the park, surrounded by piles of t-shirts and something that looked slightly like water pistols.

Judging by the many colors Beaker was splashed in, they weren't just water pistols.

There was also an extensive obstacle course set up throughout the park, complete with pits, snare traps, sniper nests, and bunkers.

Had he blatantly stolen all of the best ideas from a summer of paintball classes?

Yes. Yes, he had.

In the center of the obstacle course was a flagpole with a blue and yellow gremlin flag flying high.

"For our final meeting," he began, "we will be working in teams to capture that flag! Navigate the obstacle course while your competitors shoot at you with these--" he lifted up a water gun, "--vintage 1980s disappearing ink guns!"

Judging by Beaker, that ink didn't disappear that fast.

"Meep meep meep meep!"

Anakin glanced down. "Oh. Well. Using these vintage water guns that have been filled with printer ink!"

So, the most expensive ammunition on the planet.

Jaina hadn't realized it was Truth Day, that was just how she talked to people.

"We have five obstacles for you to get through to make it to the end, where you will win absolutely nothing. Maybe my grudging respect. No teams today, it's every being for themselves. And I don't know hardly anyone's names so whoever I point to has to come down here and participate, and I know who I'm pointing to so don't think you're getting away with anything."

The park was completely overrun with alots this morning including Alot of Time, clanging away covered in clocks; Alot of Loooooove, covered in hearts and doing fairly unspeakable things to the trees until Anakin used the Force to hit them with Alot of Water; Alot of Noise, covered in kazoos and snare drums; and Alot of Nothing, which Anakin kept walking into and cursing at.

"Hear we are--" Anakin yelled into his megaphone, "--on another day of Shenanigans."

"EMEP," Beaker said, nodding.

"I had something else planed," he continued, "but the alots are causing ALOT OF MESS."

And here came one, covered in mud, so thank you for that, Anakin.

He frowned: the animal pens had turned into writing implements. "We'll create holding pens and then coral them."

Anakin listened to the extensive explanation with a long sigh. "So. Slight mixup. Beaker has pulled five Olympic sports from a hat and that is what you will be competing! So: skateboarding, pairs canoe slalom, beach volleyball, archery, and equestrian jumping."
