"Okay, guys, today your only task is to take the practice test for the SATs," Veronica said. "If you want to know your scores, you can drop by my office on Thursday."

"We're almost through the session," Veronica said once her students had all arrived. "Next week, I'm going to let you all take the practice test so you know what to expect when you go to take the test for real."

She started passing out some handouts . "Today we're going to cover the writing section. Here are some tips for approaching the writing section. I've also prepared some practice questions for you."

Veronica and her very large cup of coffee were sitting on the desk this morning as the students entered the classroom.

"Good morning, guys. There's coffee and donuts over there. I figured that you might need the sugar and caffeine since we're discussing math today."

It was almost criminal to discuss math so early in the morning.

Once everyone was settled, Veronica went over the best way to approach the math section of the test.

"Any questions?" she asked. "Next week we'll do some practice problems."

"Today we're going to focus on the Critical Reading portion of the exam. This is broken down into two sections: sentence completion and passage-based reading questions. I've prepared a handout with some practice questions for you all."

"Good morning, everyone," Veronica said once her students had arrived. "Today we're going to start digging in to the actual test. There are three components of the SAT: critical reading, mathmatics and writing. We'll discuss tips and tricks for all three sections, but today we're going to start with the critical reading section."

She passed out a hand out. "The critical reading section is seventy minutes of the test and is designed to test your vocabulary and reading comprehension. Today we're going to focus on the vocabulary section. There are computers set up along the back and I want you to spend some time playing a vocabulary game."

"Good morning, everyone," Veronica said. "I know it's early to have to think, but this is actually good practice for when you go to take the SATs. And, I brought coffee."

She smiled. "My name is Veronica Mars. I graduated from Fandom High back in 2006. I'm currently studying Criminal Justice at UCLA. And I'm here to help give you tips and tricks to succeeding on your SATs."

"Before we begin, I'm going to pass out a syllabus to all of you. This is a rough guideline. If there's something you guys want to cover in more detail, I'm completely flexible. I'd like you all to introduce yourselves. Tell me when and where you're from, what colleges you're considering and what degree you would like to pursue. Then we'll go over some Tips and Tricks for how to approach the SAT."
