Mick was waiting at the end of the Causeway, leaning on a pillar, hat over his eyes and a box on the ground next to him. He'd had the office handwavily tell his students to meet him there, and bring sunscreen and their togs.

Togs (noun): bathers or swimming costume )

[We interrupt your regularly scheduled playing for some OCD. Please stand by. OCD has been achieved.]

When the students arrived in the Danger Shop, they could be forgiven for thinking they were in the wrong place. Given the rolling lawn, impeccably groomed and emerald green, the tables with actual lace tablecloths and the exquisite food, bone china and fine silver it would be a safe assumption. The tables for sitting and the tables holding food and tea were arranged under a large white gazebo which was covered in climbing roses.

Mick was sitting in one of the chairs, holding a delicate teacup and saucer, pinky elegantly curved. "Today we're going to learn about afternoon tea, and the proper way to behave if you're invited. Everyone take a seat." Once his students had complied, Mick explained the proper etiquette for attending afternoon tea, then nodded at the elegant tables. "Now it's time to put it to use."

[Do wait for the OCD, Thank you kindly.]

The class had been told to meet at the end of the Causeway, which was where Mick was waiting. When they'd all arrived, Mick gestured to the portal. "G'day. No idea how this thing works, but it's a little ripper. Bloke says it'll take us straight to Walkabout Creek. Come on." With that, he turned and gestured for the class to follow him through the portal.

Welcome to a land down under. )

[What we've got here is gonna be a whole lotta OCD, and you're just gonna have to wait. The class has actually left Fandom entirely, but a squirrel is welome to smuggle itself along for radio purposes.]

Class today was in the cafeteria kitchen. Mick had talked the office staff into letting his class handwavily know. When his class arrived, they'd find him standing between two tables. One was covered with a canvas tarp. One was covered with...probably just think of them as objects. Some of them were still moving )

[If you don't wait for the OCD I'll make you eat a witchetty grub OCD up; have at it!]

This week's note and map would lead the kids out into the Preserve. When the students arrived, they'd find Mick sitting crosslegged and barefoot in the middle of a small clearing. Next to him was a battered cardboard box and he was methodically sharpening a very large knife.

Which he used to make this cut )

[Wait for the OCD or I cut you Have at it!]

When they walked into the Danger Shop, the students would find themselves in the Australian bush. Mick was leaning against a gum tree, watching them from under his hat.

G'day and welcome to the bush )

[OOC: WARNING. THERE WILL BE SPIDER ICONS IN THE THIRD THREAD. And other animals, but the spiders are truly horrifying. OCD has been achieved. Have at it. Plz wait for the OCD.]

Mick had been assigned a classroom. That didn't mean he was going to use it. When the students arrived, they'd find a note stuck to the door which read:

Outside, near the big tree.

-Mick

It also had a simple map, with a path from the classroom to the tree.

As promised, Mick was outside near the big tree. He was sitting on its lowest branch, hat forward over his eyes, to all appearances asleep. Appearances can be deceiving. )

[Hangabout 'til I get the OCD's up, bog in!]
