When the class came into the gym that morning, they'd find Gladio ready to go with a large red rubber ball in his hands. "You know," he said, "when I do these gym classes, I kind of like to do dodgeball for the last class, but, well, since it's almost Christmas, it seemed a little too far removed from the holiday spirit and I've decided we'll go with a less cutthroat final class instead."

Besides, this was quite possibly one of the less cutthroat classes he'd ever had. Unless you got Nell worked up into the right headspace, anyway.

"So we're doing some kickball instead. Obviously, there's not enough of us to really do teams, so we'll just take turns as pitcher and kicker and various field positions, and hopefully just have a good time for our last class. I'll go over the basics and the rules and how to play while you guys start getting stretched out, we'll do a quick lap around the gym to get out blood pumping, and then it's game on."

It would seem that their time for mountain activities had passed, as class was being held back in the gym again, and it was very clearly going to be a classic return to form in the spirit of your typical phys ed class, if the stacks of colorful scooters were any indication.

Not that Gladio imagined his students would have that much in the way of knowing the cultural significance there; hell, even he'd only learned about this sort of thing after he'd started teaching gym classes, but it was apparently a staple, and so he wasn't about to let class finish up without dragging them out, and the final class was definitely already reserved for something else.

"Hope you're all ready to watch your fingers," he announced, "because today? We've got scooters. Now, these scooters are a popular activity for gym classes, it's fun, it's got a little element of danger with the potential of rolling over your fingers, and it can be a surprisingly good workout. Plus you guys'll get to see me on one of these things, which, believe me, is a sight to behold. I got a few activities centered around using the scooters, so let's take a few moments to warm up and stretch out and then we'll get right to it."

The class was back on the mountain again, and, if you were anything like Gladio that day, you had a nice hat to keep your head warm! But, realizing that the Santa hats were here to stay that day, he decided to whip up a class real quick to sort of reflect that. Sure, he didn't know much about Christmas anymore, but he did recognize the hat, and he knew the guy drove a sleigh, and so it just stood to reason that today's class should be about sledding.

So the slope was a good, gentle, long one, and there was a wide variety of sleds to choose from, from those classic wooden ones on tall runners, to those deadly metal round ones, to a variety of plastic ones, as well, to suit any sledding preferences. There were even a few toboggan style ones, and Gladio was definitely encouraging everyone to partner or group up to give those a try, too.

Plus? The sledding was the fun part, and the trudging back up the hill was definitely the physical part, but at least you won't need to worry about leg day this week!

And you wouldn't even have to worry about losing your hat, no matter how fast you go!

Class would be meeting in the Danger Shop that morning, in part for its intended purpose to safely prevent injuries, perhaps, but mostly just because it was sometimes just easier to mock something up in there than to arrange a field trip. So the students would find themselves in a nice winter wonderland on the summit of a mountain, with a nice slope down one side and a lovely pine grove forest on the other, and considering that Gladio stood beside some racks of skiing equipment and snowshoes, it was probably pretty clear to anyone who recognized it what they were doing today.

"We're heading into winter here," he explained, "and so I figured we'd look at a few different snow activities before we get entirely sick of it, or to give you the chance to maybe learn more about it before trying it out in the wild. Skiing, where you use these flat, bladed apparatus to slide over snow and down slopes, and snowshoeing, where you use these flat, meshed apparatus to walk through the snow. We're going to cover both, you can try both, or you can just stick to one if that's more comfortable."

Or you could decide not to do either and just get yourself into a snowball fight or make snow angels or snowmen, but Gladio wasn't going to just suggest that to you all, you had to come up with that all your own.

"So we'll go over some of the basics for each of them, and then you can just have at it."

The weather according the weather report anyway still continued to be stubborn in not yet turning toward much colder temperatures, and so of course Gladio was going to continue to try to think of reasons to get the class out of the gym and into the great outdoors to get their physical activity in while they still could. Which was why the class was meeting out by Selkie Lake that morning, and why he'd spent the morning hauling a bunch of different kinds of boats out from storage.

Would it have been less work to just have booted up something in the danger shop? Probably! But it just wouldn't be the same.

"Hey, guys," he greeted everyone with a nod once he figured anyone who was making it today was present and accounted for, "good morning. In case you haven't put two and two together yet, today we're talking boats. Got a few different kinds for every level of comfort, and, of course, safety jackets if you don't know how to swim or are just not very confident in your swimming ability, but that water's pretty cold this time of year, so you'll probably do well to just stay topside if you can help it. And before we head out, I'll definitely go over the best way to do it with the various types of vessels we got here. Nothing too complicated, some more of a workout to manage than others, but hopefully it should be a good time. If you've got any particular issues with going out into the water, though, you've got some alternate options. Well..."

Here, he trailed off a little bit into a grin.

"Your other option'll be laps around the lake, so...choose wisely."

You could also just, you know, leave, too, and it's not like it as going to be held against you as far as your grade was concerned, but as far as Gladio's opinion of you went...well...

He clapped his hands together. "Let's get started!"

With the weather still seeming to be pretty nice and fairly warm (especially by his standards), Gladio felt it would be a good idea to take class outside this week, and out to the preserve, where he would meet them all with a faint grin on his face that suggested he'd been getting a few things set up before the start of the class period.

"Today," he announced, "we're going to take it a little easy with a game, but it's a game that should involve some hiking, some climbing, some running around, and maybe even a little bit of strategy and espionage, depending on how you guys decide to go about it. We're going to do a little bit of a modified version of Capture the Flag, which is a game where, ideally, you split up into two teams, and you work with your team to...well, capture the flag of the other team. Since we're a pretty small class, we're taking it in more a free-for-all direction. I've marked out an area of the woods here and, within that area, there are four flags hidden: one red, one yellow, one blue, and one green. And whoever manages to get the most flags by the time I blow this whistle wins for the day.

"Now," he said, "a few ground rules. To keep things civil, if someone else catches you with a flag, all they have to do to take that flag is tag you on the shoulder, and you have to give it up. So not only do you have to try and find the flags, but you gotta keep your competition from knowing you have them or from stealing them. If you get caught, you gotta give up your flags. Pretty simple, though, right? I'll be monitoring so if there's any questions or issues, you can come right to me. And, obviously, since we're out in the woods, some of you," now who in the world could he mean?, "might have some terrain advantages, but hopefully, in the spirit of sportsmanship, we'll keep that sort of thing in mind.

"The flags are already out there," he said, "so really, all you guys need to do is take a few moments to stretch out and warm up, and then go capture 'em. So good luck."

Gladio was sort of feeling like this week was a good week to 'take it easy,' as it were, although his definition of 'taking it easy' didn't always match other people's. Still, today was going to be pretty simple and straight forward, especially since he knew the focus would be something that a few of the students in the class had already taken a class on that summer, since he was in that class right with him.

"What we're focusing on today," he said, once everyone was there and ready to go in the gym, which had plenty of mats laid out, "is something I know some of you have done before, but it's one of those things that's good every time you do it, even if you're really familiar with it, and that's yoga. You know how I'm always emphasizing the importance of stretching out and getting limber before any big workout, and yoga really puts a lot of focus on that, as well as then pushing beyond just stretching and really being good for toning your muscles, it's great for really strengthening your core and enhancing your flexibility for better performance. Not only that, but its got its roots in things like meditation and mindfulness, so while you're working on fine tuning all those muscles, you're also working on fine tuning your brain," he grinned at the class as he tapped his forehead, "and we could all use a little bit more of that, right?

"So let's do a quick warm-up and then I'm going to go over some of the more basic yoga positions, and then maybe some intermediate ones, too, since I know we've got some more experience in this class, and then, when you're feeling comfortable, we can work on figuring out some good sequences to put the poses into that'll really make the most out of them for you. They may not seem like much on the surface, but, believe me, guys, you'll be feeling it by the time we're done."

Or else, honestly, they were kind of just doing it wrong.

It was another good day for taking advantage of the weather and having class outside on the lawn rather than inside in the gym or the danger shop, which was also good because a lawn was exactly the sort of place where a game like today's was best.

"Morning, everyone," he greeted the class with a nod, a plain oblong ball tucked under his arm. "Now, I'm sure you all know about next week being the school trip and everything, so, naturally, I went to see what kind of sports were popular in New Zealand, and came up with rugby as the most popular one, so that's what we'll be talking about today. You know the drill. Start warming up and stretching while I talk a little bit about it, and then we'll hit the field."

"Now," he continued, "as I understand it, rugby's another form of football, but it's closer to the kind of football we didn't talk about last week, in that it's based on carrying the ball across the field rather than kicking it, and the balls have similar shapes, too. It's also a contact sport known for being pretty rough, but, especially as newbies, I'm sure we won't have to worry about that too much."

There was a bit of a warning, in that statement, with a particular look toward Alara assuming she was there, because the idea of her tackling any of her classmates just felt like a recipe for disaster, although if she really wanted to, he could probably take it.

"So let's go over the rules and gameplay, and then we'll hit the field."

If there was an opportunity to take advantage of decent weather while they still had it, Gladio was going to do so. It might be a little warm for some people (especially for October), but he'd always liked warm weather better, anyway. Easier to sweat, and therefor easier to know you've put in some good work, right? Either way, this meant the class was taking it out of the gym today and out onto the lawn, where he was ready with a ball in hand and two goals on either side marking the area and making it pretty clear that today was going to be a sport-focused day.

"Alright, guys," he started, "today, we're going to be learning about football, but not that football, the football that's known here as soccer but football nearly everywhere else, except here, because here, football is something different."

He flashed them a grin, shaking his head.

"Yeah, I don't get it, either. But the American football's a lot harder to pull off with such a small class, so we're leaning hard into this one, which makes more sense anyway, since the whole point is kicking the ball with your feet. And even though we're not going to clearly be playing a typical game, we're going to introduce you to the rules and how it's played and then just basically spend the rest of the time kicking, passing, tending goal, and maybe even a few neat tricks with the ball. So, let's get stretching, and then it's game on."

Before the gremlins had left the gym on Tuesday, Gladio, inspired by a truly terrible idea that you could all absolutely blame Steve McGarrit on, pulled one aside and had a few questions for them, which was why when the students filed into the gym that Thursday for class, they would find a small group of gremlins there as well, wearing legwarmers and sweatbands and already starting to stretch out on a mat.

"Morning, guys," Gladio greeted, lacing his fingers together and doing a little bit of a stretch over his head before shaking it out slightly and giving them all a grin that was slightly apologetic, but mostly just way too pleased with itself. "We're going to be doing something a little different today, and don't worry too much about the gremlins. They come in peace; they've got their gym memberships on the line, so they're....probably not going to misbehave, but they are going to teach us all something today.

"Dance," he said, and that grin maybe sparked again, "is a great way to stay fit and active. Not, like, you know, courtly dances or things like that, but there's a lot of types of dance that, when you do it for a good hour session of practice, will really get you moving and sweating, and it turns out these gremlins have been taking advantage of that to keep fit and agile with a mix of cardio and Latin-inspired dancing called zumba. So today, they're going to teach us about it, because they're much better equipped to do that than I am, that's for sure."

And he never had issues with deferring to...erm...the experts.

"So take about five, ten minutes, stretch and warm up, and then we'll pass it over to our guests for the day."

With fall and winter quickly approaching, Gladio wasn't really sure how many more nice days they'd have left to do something like this, so he wanted to take advantage of a good day while they had it. Which meant everyone in class was going to be redirected to the beach that day, where he had set up a few volleyball nets and was waiting for everyone with a volleyball being idly tossed between his hands.

"Hey, everyone," he greeted with a nod and a grin. "If you haven't figured out by now what we're doing for today, then I'm going to go ahead and guess you're just not that familiar with volleyball. But you're in luck, because we're going to learn how to play it today and pick up some good coordination skills and maybe even some teamwork points while we're at it.

"So, take some time to get warmed up while I explain the rules of the game. If you already know 'em, just sit tight for those who don't. And then we'll split you guys up into teams. We've got a good number for pairs assuming everyone was there, and since things can feel a little different depending on who you're paired with, we'll switch 'em up after each game. Any questions for me right out the gate before I start breaking things down?"

Well. Gladio found out where all the five-pound weights had gone when he came in to get ready for class that morning, and the answer to that was, apparently, in another gym.

And, well, that gave him an idea to do a quick reworking of what they would be doing in class that day, too. Good thing he had reason to dip out of the apartment fairly early to get here to set things up, right? He was still going to be smirking about that probably the whole day, and was very much looking forward to serving up another nice round of "Dude, I told you so" later on before hitting the bar.

But today, it would be the students who would be hitting the bar. The weight bar! And Gladio was grinning once everyone was there and geared up and ready to go, but that grin was maybe slightly apologetic to Jon in particular assuming he was there as he clapped his hands to rally the troops and get started.

"Alright, guys," he said, "today we're focusing on the upper body, and specifically, weight lifting, because a bunch of weights that went missing from my other gym the other day wound up in here this morning, and I'm taking that as a sign from the multiverse that it wants you guys to pump some iron today. Now, I know guys like me probably make it look like it's pretty easy, but there's a lot to keep in mind when it comes to weight lifting, because it's incredibly easy to wind up with more injury than gains if you're not careful. So, today, we're going to go over a few different types of weight training, the various different types of weights, and, most importantly, some proper technique guidelines for what to do and what definitely not to do. So take a few minutes to get warmed up, and then we'll get right into it."

Call him crazy, but Gladio was thinking it felt pretty good to be back in the gymnasium again. Maybe it was just the promise of another semester of subjecting hapless victims students to at least an period's worth of physical activity each week. Maybe it was just that persistent aroma of plastic mats and stale sweat and the promise of squeaking tennis shoes on the gym room floor, but he was feeling pretty psyched to get started.

He'd even gotten a shiny new whistle for the occasion, but that wasn't all that was new, as was to be revealed as soon as everyone in the class was there, and Gladio gave a little nod (and maybe just faint extra grin directed at no one in particular, really) before getting started.

"Alright," he said, "hey, everyone. And welcome to this semester's phys ed class. I know you all know me because I know all of you, so we can probably skip the introductions and get right into the good stuff, and that's the first day physical challenge and assessment."

Oh, and that was a rare grin from Gladio, one that unabashedly stretched from ear to ear.

"But before we get to that," he said, gesturing toward the neatly stacked clothes on a fold-out table beside him, "your gear."

He figured that would be a more appealing word to use than uniforms, but, really, providing neutral-colored shorts, tanks, sweats, and cover-ups for the students had been an elegant solution to the wide variety of clothing people would be rolling in on, although everyone was on their own for footwear. If it helped, too, Gladio was already kitted out in the new FU branded sweats, and, hey, at least you knew they were brand new, too, right, and hadn't been just sitting in a storage closet somewhere for who knows how long.

"So suit up, stretch out, and we'll get started with some standard drills to see where everyone's at."

Considering the class roster? This could get interesting.

For their final class, the students would be meeting in the danger shop instead of the gym, and, now that he was actually there about to explain what they were doing, Gladio was starting to wonder if maybe it was actually kind of dumb. But, at the same time, it was their last class, on the last day of the semester entirely, and so maybe a little dumb wasn't such a bad thing after all.

The space was set up as sort of an arena, and there were punching bags both hanging from the ceiling as well as on stands throughout most of it, and Gladio gave them a nod.

"Well, guys," he said, "it's our last class, and, usually, I like to do something iconic like dodgeball for that, but, a few discussions with a friend of mine got me thinking about something else: dodge-bags." His hitched a thumb over his shoulder toward the punching bags. "The punching bags of Fandom have had enough of taking the brunt of everyone's fists, and now they're out seeking revenge. And so your goal is to...well, dodge them, as they're going to attack once we finish with warm-ups and stretches.

"Of course," he added, "you can also just fight them back, too, but know that these bags aren't messing around, and they're going to do all they can to give you a good wallop with their whole bag selves. But, for the most part, pretty simple, right? It's our last class, so just get out there, run around, have some fun, let me know if you have any questions, but first. One last lesson on the importance of a good warm up and stretch before hand."

"So." Back in the gym for class this week, and Gladio had that faint grin on his face that suggested he understood that today's topic might not be the coolest, but, as a someone with a good deal of troll in his blood, it was practically necessary, and, if anything, it should be at least amusing to get to see a guy like him about to teach this lesson. "If I'm not mistaken, tonight's your guys' prom, and if there's anything I've come to understand about proms, it's that it's mostly about dressing up, looking nice, having fun with your friends, and, most of all, dancing.

"Now, there's a lot of types of dance, and a lot of them are really good for physical activity. We don't have a whole lot of time to go into a lot of them today, there could be whole classes on most of them, and I'm definitely not going to subject you to the kind of courtly dancing I had to be subjected to when I was around your age. What we're going to do today is a couple of different line dances: choreographed dances that have specific steps that are easy to remember to do in a group setting. We'll do a little stretching, go over some of the steps, and then we'll put it into action with some practice until you guys are practically experts. And," he snorted, "maybe you guys can even bust it out at the dance tonight and I'll give you either some extra credit or a free period instead of an exam next week.

"But stretching first," he said with a nod. "Warm-ups are important."

Much to Ignis' chagrin, his roommate was still a plant for some ungodly reason, and he was not one to let Gladio's class go unattended two weeks in a row. And he supposed that, in a lot of cases, a substitute teacher meant a light day of watching a movie or documentary, like Gladio had done for Prompto's class, but there were definitely reason why that particular route didn't exactly seem like a viable option for a class Ignis was substituting for.

So the Phys Ed class would be meeting in the danger shop that day, where a standard obstacle coarse was set up, but they would not be running it. Not exactly, anyway.

"Good morning," he greeted the class with a nod, as soon as the time to get it started hit and not a moment later. "For those of you who don't already know, my name is Ignis Scientia, and I will be handling this class today due to the fact that Mr. Amicitia is still a bit...indisposed. But we will not have a very difficult class today, but we will also not be entirely slacking off in light of his absence. We'll be playing a classic game: hide and seek. Only you won't have to close your eyes when you count, because we'll be playing it in the dark."

Of course, that was the moment when the lights dramatically cut, with the exception of the low-lights around the edges of the obstacles, because Ignis wasn't entirely evil, thank you.

"Any questions before we begin? And more importantly, any volunteers to be it first?"

Cleaning out that closet down at the gym had managed to unearth a few things to drive the inspiration for Gladio's class that morning, specifically in the form of a few colorful scooters, that he was looking forward to introduce to the class and really get everyone rolling. Who didn't love a nice scooter class every once in a while?

It should also be noted, though, that class was definitely being held in the danger shop this week. No way anyone was losing a finger to those things on his watch.

Gladio may have had a bit of a later night than he was used to, but that didn't mean he wasn't just as ready to go for class as usual. Last week's difficulty with the danger shop, however, did convince him to keep it to the gym today, though, which meant a relatively simple lesson that the students could still have fun with, and it involved setting up a net and tossing a ball that, if recognized, would give up the game before he got a chance to explain.

"Volleyball," he announced. "Pretty fun game that's easily adapted to just four people, and that's what we're going to be learning about today. It's basically a game where the goal is to try and keep the ball off the ground when it's on your side of the net, and to prevent the players on the other side of the net from keeping it in the air when its on theirs, usually through a variety of different hits and moves, which we'll go over. And the preferred method of this game is usually played out on a beach in the soft sand, so doing anything necessary, like dives or lunges, to keep the ball from hitting the ground are part of what make the game exciting. We're not using soft sand, though, so we've got some knee and elbow pads to help with that. Because, obviously, I'm going to encourage you guys to go all out. But before we do that, we should probably go over how the game is played to begin with..."

Class had been rerouted over to the Danger Shop today, but when the students arrived, they'd find Gladio scratching his head a little bit over the controls. Apparently, it was just not a good week for him and technology, and though he had something entirely different planned for the day, all he seemed to be able to pull up right now was an obstacles course very much in the style of a very classic platformer game, complete with little mushroom-like enemies and floating gold coins.

"Right," said Gladio, sighing as he realized he wasn't going to get this fixed in time, especially now that class was beginning. "So I guess we're doing obstacle courses today. Should be fun, right? These ones look like a lot of jumping in involved, so I guess you could kind of compare it to parkour, which is sort of figuring out how to move through an environment in interesting ways, usually with a lot of climbing and jumping to get past obstacles that most people would just walk around. And it can definitely be a good work-out, so let's take some time to stretch and warm out, we'll go over a few basic parkour moves, and then....well, we'll hit the courses, I guess, since the Danger Shop's not really giving me any other options right now.

"And definitely watch out for those little mushroom guys, they'll give you some trouble. The weird turtle guys, too...Anyway, lets'a go!"

....no, Gladio had no idea why he said it that way, and he didn't really care to find out, either.

Wanting to take some inspiration from the surfing he'd done during the trip last week, Gladio knew he could have easily have tossed up a danger shop sim with some pretty sweet waves or some pretty gentle ones for learning on, but, in looking into things for the class, he'd discovered surfing pools, and they were too funny not to take advantage of.

"So we're taking kind of a field trip today," he told them. "Go grab your swim gear if you don't have it with you already, or you can just stick with the standard school issued stuff, and then we're going to hit some sort-of waves and do a little surfing. I tried it on the trip last week and, I've gotta say, I'm a big fan. Surprisingly good workout, too, but you'll see what I mean. You got ten minutes to get ready before our portal gets here, and then we're hitting the not-beach."

Gladio was going to meet his class just outside the school, where the name of the game that day was very clear and needed little to no introduction.

"Laps!" he declared, clapping his hands together and grinning as he gave his arms a little pump of excitement. "Good way to work off some energy, and we're doing it around the island, so you can get some good scenery in, too."

After all, both the island and its inhabitants were beautiful! Might as well enjoy the views while getting in a good work out; all those stairs were great for leg day!

Just don't forget to stretch! Nothing sexy about a pulled muscle! (Even if it could, probably, lead to some sexy results).

Feeling inspired by teaching Nell how to use the rowing machines at the gym earlier that week, Gladio rooted through the Danger Shop archives until he found something that might suit his needs, a nice wilderness scenario that involved a lot of gorgeous views and, most importantly, a nice big river course with some interesting rapids and turns in it. And since they did swimming last week, doing another lesson involving water seemed to be just a nice little fit, didn't it?

"Today," Gladio greeted the class with a grin, giving one of the canoes leaning against a strategically place tree a little pat, "we're learning how to row and paddle a canoe. It's pretty simple and easy once you get the hang of it, and there's definitely a lot to keep in mind to make sure you're doing it properly and correctly, so we're just going to get right into it. We'll start here on dry land to go over the techniques, and, once everyone's feeling comfortable with that, we'll hit the water and see where it takes us. Alright! Lots of upper arm strength and core work with this one today, so let's make sure we warm up and stretch those areas before we get started, and then we're off."

Hopefully, everyone in the class remembered what Gladio had definitely, absolutely, trust me said last week about coming to class this week with swimwear if they had it, and that he'd make sure they had an option if they didn't, and he also hoped that that meant none of them would be particularly surprised when they were redirected to the Danger Shop, set up to look like a nice, big indoor pool.

He'd considered using the pool at the gym, really, but it was kind of nice to lean on the Danger Shop and not have to worry about any kids drowning due to lack of experience or lack of common sense. This batch, however, seemed pretty good with that kind of thing, but, still...

"Alright," Gladio, clearly ready to get into the water himself with his swim trunks, clapped his hands together, "if you're not already suited up, hit the locker rooms and get ready, because today we're tackling swimming. If you don't already know how to swim, don't worry, we're going to go over it, and if you do already know how to swim, then we'll be doing a quick overview of the basics, just to refresh you, and then we'll just sort of go from there. I got a couple of activities that'll suit a variety of skills based on where you guys are at, but swimming is not only a great way to get in a good workout, but it's also a lot of fun, too, and something I hope you guys'll get a lot of mileage out of, once the weather starts to warm up. And, speaking of warming up, we'll want to do a little bit of that, too, before we get in, because there's nothing worse than a muscle cramp mid-stroke. So let's take a few moments to get ready, and then let's jump on in."

The class would be meeting in the Danger Shop again, which felt a little ironic, because there didn't seem to be a whole lot dangerous about the very scenic and idyllic landscape that greeted the students when they came in. And the row of bicycles next to Gladio as he grinned over at them, waiting for them to gather around, probably gave a pretty good hint as to what they'd be doing that day.

"Last week," he started, "we focused on an activity that used a lot of upper body and arm strength with the rock climbing, and today, to balance it out, we're doing a leg day. Already know how to ride a bike? Great, perfect, take some time to stretch out and get limber, and you can start on the bigger course. It's got some good scenery, some nice height variation, and hopefully will be a good way to spend your class just biking along. If you don't know how to ride a bike, or it's been a while, so you're feeling a little rusty and want a refresher, stick with me, we'll go over it, and then we'll hit the lighter course to get you started. Pretty simple, right? So come on over, pick out a bike, make sure you take some time to really stretch out, because you will be feeling this in the morning, and let's get started."

The class was going to relocate to the Danger Shop this week, not so much because Gladio was worried about people getting hurt as it was that it just made things a lot easier, and as the students arrived, he was in the middle of giving his arms and shoulders a good stretch while standing in front of an elaborate series of rock climbing walls.

"Hey, guys," he greeted them with a grin and a clap of his hands together to signify it was time to get started. "Today, we're going to take on one of my personal favorite fun physical activities, and that's rock climbing! Now, there's a lot to be said about getting out there and climbing actual rocks in mountains and everything, but rock climbing walls like the ones you see behind me are also really great if you don't have that kind of time, resources, or even cooperative weather, plus they can offer a lot of variety for different skill levels, so that's what we'll be working on today.

"For the most part," he continued, "it's pretty self-explanatory. With rock climbing, what you do is....climb rocks. But, there is just a bit more to it than that, which is why I'm going to go over some safety tips and basic equipment we'll use today. Pay attention, but while I'm going over that, be sure to start warming up and getting limber, especially your arms and shoulders, or else you're probably going to regret in the morning. And, after that, I'll go over a few words of advice before letting you loose on the walls.

"So let's get started."

Hopefully, everyone came into the gym that day dressed and ready for gym class, because Gladio planned to launch right into it.

"Today," he said, "now that we've got a little more time and the whole class period without me having to rush off somewhere else, we're going to cover some basics. First off, and most importantly, is stretching. You should always take the time to stretch, even if only a little bit, before doing any physical activity, and it's also a good idea to stretch afterwards, too. A little warm-up, and then a cool-down, to keep your muscles in the best shape without straining them too much. Then, after we stretch, we're just going to do a few basic exercises, so I can get a good idea on where you guys are at and what we can be working on. Most classes probably aren't going to be this intensive. Some classes will be. But after today, you'll also know some basic exercises that you can do practically anywhere in your own free time, as well, to keep it up through the week. We're going to cover," his hand went out to tick off the exercises by lifting a finger as he listed them, "jumping jacks, push ups, sit up, chin ups, lunges, sprints, and a rope climb. It might sound like a lot....and it probably will be...but it's just a little of each, so hopefully, it won't be too bad.

"Besides," he cracked a grin, "you'll have the whole week to recover, right? Anyway." He clapped his hands together. "Let's get started."

When the students headed into the gym for class that week, they would find their instructor already there, of course, in the middle of some general basic stretches, mostly with twisting and stretching his arms. There were only a few of them on the roster, so once it looked like they were all there, Gladio grinned a little, dropped the leg he was currently stretching behind him, and then clapped his hands.

"Alright," he said. "Good. Looks like you're here and ready to get started. We're going to keep this short and sweet today, because I've got a wedding I need to get to, but that's fine. It's probably been a long week of introductions and getting used to your new classes and schedules, so we can take it easy this week. But what you need to know? This is phys ed, aka gym class, and I'm Gladio Amicitia. I'm going to be teaching you. It's going to be a lot of emphasis on physical strength and endurance, but we're also going to be playing a lot of games and sports and things like that, so hopefully, you'll all find it fun as well as challenging. And I do hope to challenge you. I used to do training for an elite group of warriors back home known as the Crownsguard, before I spent a good decade as a daemon hunter, so I'm all about that hard work and the rewarding feeling of accomplishment that goes with it. Now, we're probably not going to be hunting any daemons in this class, quite the opposite, really, but I'm just letting you know now, I expect you all to come to this class prepared to really give it your all."

Then he snorted.

"Well, maybe not so much today," he allowed. "Today, we're just going to get to know each other a little bit. Now, the school has uniforms for those of you who don't have proper gym gear, but they're definitely a little sketch, so I've got some nicer ones," he gave the folding table with some very comfortable looking sweatpants, hoodies, t-shirts and shorts very similar to his old Crownsguard sweats, "that you'll actually want to wear. And I totally get it if you'd feel more comfortable in your own gear, but I come from a military background, so there's something kind of nice about cohesion, would make us feel more like a team if we were all in the same gear, but that's up to you. The clothes are yours to keep, either way.

"And like I said," he concluded, "we're keeping it simple today, but I would like to play a little bit of a game still today, just a light little fun to get to know each other a bit better. Using this."

It was then that Gladio fished out a small colorful hacky sack and held it up with a grin.

"Let me show you how."

Oh, come on, like you wouldn't be surprised that Gladio definitely went through a hackey sack phase in his late teens/very early twenties.

"In the great wide world of sports," Gladio got the class started that day with a grin on his face that they should all be terribly used to, and palming a large rubber ball that should start making a few of them sweating by its mere existence easily in one hand, "there are many roads we could have taken to this final class, you guys. A lot of options. But we felt, in light of the class as a whole, there really only was one solution, one sport that will truly level the playing field and separate the bold and the brave: dodgeball."

With that, he tossed the ball to Dwight to keep the introduction going.

"It has been a great class and we are proud of the progress and work you all have made," Dwight said as he looked around at the class. "So to finish things off on a hopefully fun note, let's get ready to play!"

The nice thing about a school like Fandom High was that, if you wanted to do an obstacle course for your class, there were already plenty of options available in the Danger Shop database. Still, due to the….varied nature…of the abilities of this particular class, Dwight and Gladio wanted to pick something that would be challenging enough for the more athletically inclined kids without being too daunting for those that were a little less so.

It was still going to skew heavily toward the former rather than the latter, though.

In Dwight's mind this was the sort of thing that worked well for a class as varied and unique as this one. Obstacle courses were great for those who wanted to make it about speed and agility as they worked through the course and also for those who were more focused on simply figuring out the tricks for getting through each obstacle set. So really, it was a great choice for this, their next to last class for the semester.

Would they come to regret this choice? Maybe, but they had all managed to survive the class so far relatively unscathed. So odds were in their favor right?

In any case, a Ninja Warrior-esque obstacle course was set up in front of them that morning.

"I don't think," Gladio offered, with a grin, "we need to go too into detail on what you guys are doing today. We'll take a few moment to warm up, and then we'll get right to it, to the best of your ability. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns, otherwise…get stretching, and then let's get going."

Gladio was running the class solo that morning, but he certainly didn't feel compelled to explain the absense of his co-teacher to anyone. They might get a vague answer if they asked, but, for the most part, he was just continuing on with the lesson like normal, because they were here to be tortured get fit, not to speculate on the personal lives of their instructors.

"Now," Gladio started, getting things going with a lift of his hand as he talked as if to placate them to be open to today's lesson, "it'sbeen a while since we really brought this up or talked about it, but you'll hopefully remember some of the emphasis we've put on stretching before any physical activity to help keep yourself limber and prevent injuries throughout class. Flexibility and warmed-up muscles are a key factor in athletics that can often go overlooked, But sometimes, stretching can seem boring or a waste of time. Believe me. It isn't. And there's also lots of ways that stretching can actually be more beneficial than you realize, working on core muscle groups and strengthening them for better performance. And yoga is actually really great for that sort of thing. Not only that, but its got its roots in things like meditation and mindfulness, so while you're working on fine tuning all those muscles, you're also working on fine tuning your brain," he grinned at the class as he tapped his forehead, "and we could all use a little bit more of that, right?

"So let's do a quick warm-up and then I'm going to go over some of the more basic yoga positions, and if you guys feel you've got a good handle on that, I'll walk you through some ways to put them together in a sequence to really enhance to exeperience and the work out. They may not seem like much on the surface, but, believe me, guys, you'll be feeling it by the time we're done."

Or else, honestly, they were kind of just doing it wrong.

Early that morning, probably too early for some of the student's liking, they would be getting a text about class. Dwight had debated for most of the week and finally decided on how to handle class given the current state of the island as a whole.

Class will be canceled this week; enjoy the day off! Do a few laps or something and we'll call it good!

That was the wisest and most sensible thing to do right? It wasn't THAT kind of health class after all!

Class was being held once more in the Danger Shop and the students would be greeted when they arrived by a rather impressive rock climbing wall set up with all the gear ready to go as well.

"There are plenty of great mountains and whatnot in the area, only a short drive on the mainland, that we could use for today's lesson," Dwight said once everyone had assembled. "But we figured it would be best to hold class today in a bit more of a ..... controlled environment."

"Because some people," Gladio said, with a smirk, because he was definitely "Some People" in this instance, "are going to push it a little too far, and we'd rather not fill out that paperwork. And here you can definitely pull off some stuff that would otherwise be a little more…inadvisable IRL."

"So we'll get right into things and start off the class with all the necessary do's and don'ts and get us off on our climbing adventures!" Dwight added with a grin.

Gladio stood, ready and prepared for this day's lesson, spinning a tennis racket idly in his hand as if he was barely conscious of it. After all, when you were used to wielding swords just as big as you were (and you were not by any measurement a small man), this thing practically felt like air. But he was definitely actually thinking of what kind of damage it might do if he needed to use it in a pinch.

Finally, though, he stopped twirling the thing and met the students with a grin. "Tennis!" he announced. "It's a sport about hitting a ball with a weird looking stick over a waist-high net!"

Sure. It was definitely just that simple.

Dwight looked at his co-teacher with a definite eyebrow lift at that as he spoke up.

"It's a little more involved than all of that, but yes. Today we are going to work out some pent up energy with some rousing matches. So, let's not waste any time and get into the actual lesson about the game" he said giving a smirk to Gladio as they got started.

"Alright, guys," said Gladio, grinning maybe faintly at the class and definitely the state of his co-teacher, "coming fresh off a break, we're doing to be diving into the 'Health' part of this class a little today, but since both of us are definitely more the P.E. part, we checked the resources here and managed to dig up a few films that apparently come recommended for this sort of thing."

Because that was always guaranteed to work out well!

Dwight gave his co-teacher a mock glare and he rubbed the bridge of his nose against the headache that was pounding away in his caffeine-deprived head.

"Some good things can be learned from the experts of the past and from using other media sources. So given the state of things on the island right now and its current shenanigans, this might be the best solution for us... all of us." Dwight added with another glance at Gladio with a somewhat knowing glance.

"These ones are going to focus on cleanliness and body care, two things that are going to be important if you're running around being physical. Gotta take care of yourself. For your sake…and the sake of those around you. And when we're finished, we'll have a discussion about what we learned."

"And we can also discuss ways that we can apply what we have learned to situations where things have already gone a bit haywire and gotten out of hand. Like bad sunburns for example" Dwight added a bit under his breath.

Perhaps the timing would have been better if they'd have done this last Friday before the Big Game, but it was hard to not feel a little inspired by the Puppy Bowl over the weekend. It felt almost as if there was no choice but to bring that into the PE class that week.

And so there they were, both Gladio and Dwight standing on a smaller version of a regular football field. Both were dressed in classic, albeit a little ridiculous-looking, referrer shirts. With black caps on their heads and matching pants, they were looking every bit the part of the official referee team... down to the shiny silver whistles that hung around their necks. And because he totally had to, Gladio gave the whistle a blow, the shrill note, getting everyone's attention.

"So," Gladio started, "in light of last weekend being all about some big football game and wanting to go a little light on you guys right before the big school trip, we thought we can get in on a friendly little game of the flag variety. Which means no tackle."

Why did he feel the need to look at Troy in particular with that specification?

"Right" Dwight continued. "No tackling involved. Just grab an opposing player's flag off their belt and they are out."

"No porting, either," Gladio added, and, look at that, was that another specific student he was giving a firm look at? Hmm. Imagine that. "Let's try to keep everyone on the same playing field. We're going to break it up into two teams: Yellow's Kurt and Jo with me, Green'll be Troy and Guillermo with Dwight here."

"This is our pre-trip class so the name of the game is having fun alright? Ok, so let's start with a basic rundown of the rules and how this will play out, and then you all can come to get your colors and we will get started," Dwight said, giving the kids a thumbs up and saving them a whistle- for now.

No gym for the danger shop today! Instead, the class would find themselves outside on a bright and temperate day, with a smooth road beneath their feet and scenic vistas all around. And if that left anyone confused as to what they'd be learning about that day, well….the row of bicycles lined up neatly in a row beside the instructors should be a pretty good indication.

"A bit of an upgrade from the butt scooters," Gladio offered with a grin. "Today, we're doing bikes."

"Which really is a rite of passage so definitely something we need to cover in this class" Dwight said enthusiastically. "And don't worry, if anyone hasn't ridden a bike before or it's been a while we are going to start with the basics."

And he really meant the basic basics as Dwight gestured towards the table set up nearby that had all the necessary safety gear ready to go. The instructors were already geared up with their helmets because, naturally, the best way to lead was by example!

"Safety first, so be sure to grab a helmet and pads. Then we can get started!"

After the last few classes and all the progress that has been made, Dwight figured the kids deserved an easier day. And you know what? He probably deserved one too if anyone was to ask him. So the class today was fairly laid back and the setup was a bit unique as everyone gathered for the start of the class.

Both instructors stood in their normal spots, both looking quite relaxed and comfortable as they waited for everyone to gather.

"Last week," Gladio started, "was kind of a big one for some of you, and you guys did great with it. So this week, we're mixing it up a little and kind of letting you have fun and kind of do your own thing…but with these."

Gladio? Looking all too pleased with himself as he upended a box and sent a flood of the scooters onto the floor? Oh, yeah. This was going to be great.

"You all have been doing good with this class, putting in the effort, showing up, and giving it your best each time," Dwight said with a grin as he looked around at the class. "That has not gone unnoticed. You all earned a free day today!"

And that enthusiasm from his teaching buddy? Yeah, that earned a chuckle and a small smirk from Dwight who was also looking forward to a more laid-back and relaxed day. Yes, this was going to be a lot of fun. And who knew, maybe he and Gladio would break down and join in for some fun themselves. So yes, enjoy the sight of your two giant teachers trying to maneuver on these things!

"And," Gladio had to add, with another grin, as they started to wrap things up and send them off into scooter chaos, "in a way, this is kind of building up into next week, too, so keep that in mind."

"Alright then, let the fun begin," Dwight said as he gave the go-ahead and then gave Gladio a smirk.

Dwight had a good feeling as everyone got together for the class that morning. The kids had been making some good progress over the last few weeks. And yeah, this session might be a little more intense for some of the kids, and might take a little more finess than normal. But he still had a good feeling as he stood there with his teaching buddy.

Considering the warning that was dropped last week, no one should be surprised to come into the danger shop that morning and find it set up as a nice, large indoor pool. With a random NPC lifeguard programmed in, too, because why not? Gladio was far too easily amused.

"Alright, everyone!" he started with his booming voice echoing particularly well in the acoustics of the pool area. "We're swimming today! We're all starting over here in the shallow end, and if that's as far as you get, that's fine. So long as you get in. From there, though, we're going to go through a few basic swimming techniques, and you'll have to pass a skills check if you want access to the deep end."

"Right, because while we want you kids to get something out of this class, we don't want to make it any harder on anyone than it has to be," Dwight said giving a slight smile and reassuring nod to Jo.

Gladio, meanwhile, was definitely waiting until everyone else got in the pool so he could push in heckle any of the stragglers, and almost wishing they were starting in the deep end because this would be one hell of a good time for a massive cannonball.

And you know what? Dwight was also wishing for the chance to do a good cannonball rights now too....But at least one of them had to have some restraint right now

"Hopefully you all came ready to go, so let's get into the pool and get started!" Dwight said as he hopped into the pool himself and waited for the others to follow.

"Alright!" Gladio called out to grab everyone's attention when it was time to begin class, which would find themselves standing on a basketball court, where one of their teachers was standing there with a round orange ball.

So, you know, prizes to whoever could guess what they were doing that day.

"First things first!" Gladio, who was holding something that was not a round orange ball, continued. "You'll need to hit the locker rooms quick to change into these." He tossed one over to the first student, and then the others. "I've got one for each of you; consider it a donation from the Crownsguard's back room. It'll be your new uniform for the class. And before you say anything, if you're going to be in a uniform, just be glad it's these and not what the school provides for that sort of thing."

He may have given a subtle nod to Jo before turning it over to Dwight.

"So, once you have your new gear on, we're going to meet back here for some teacher vs student basketball fun" Dwight chimed in cheerfully as he gave the ball he was holding a couple of impressive spins on his finger as he spoke. "The four of you against the two of us!"

Which really, was a fairly even match considering the sheer size advantage that Gladio and Dwight had over even the tallest of their students. Four against two was a pretty fair line up all things considering. And if nothing else, Dwight hoped it would be a good chance to just have some fun and let the class have a go at some teamwork practice.

"Think it should be a good run for us today, and I know Gladio and I are both excited. So, go get changed, and then let's see what ya have out on the court!"

"Oh!" Gladio called out a moment later, before they managed to get too far. "And just as a heads-up and a fair warning," he had a feeling some of them would need that warning more than others, "next week, you're gonna wanna make sure to come prepared with swimwear, got it? Alright. Now go suit up."

While some of the students might not find themselves exactly thrilled to find themselves on a simulated track-and-field course for this week's class, they should all take comfort in the fact that Gladio wasn't their only teacher for this course, because if he was, there was a good chance they'd be doing today's lesson outside. As it was, though, it had been generally advised that maybe running around outdoors in winter sort of flew in the face of the "health" portion of the class, and Gladio really couldn't complain too much, because there'd still be running.

"Alright, everyone," he started, "we're gonna take some time to stretch out before we get started today, because, believe me, you're going to want to be warmed up for this one! Today's all about running!"

"And since we have a small class this time around," Dwight said as he jumped in. "We are going to set things up a little different than most PE health classes would. There will be two different courses set up for you to tackle today. First is Sprints and then we have a One Mile Run.

"We're not going to worry about performance here" Gladio added, lifting a hand as if to placate any protests--he was, after all, used to protests whenever the word run was involved.. "This is more about just the act of running, getting comfortable with it, knowing how to pace yourself, and how your body responds. No one's getting medals or ribbons for finishing first here…but you might get a chance to pat yourself on the back."

Yes, both instructors have a feeling some of their students might be horrified, absolutely horrified at this, while others would be fairly relieved to hear this. That was just the range you got with a class as….ecclectic as this one.

"So, let's get started then shall we?" Dwight said as they kicked off the class lecture for the day.

Dwight wasn't sure what kind of turn out to expect for a class like this seeing as it was his first time teaching at Fandom High, and his first time teaching any sort of class in quite a few years. Honestly, he was happy just to have a student or two show up. And so as he stood in front of the small group that had gathered in the Danger Shop for the first day of class, he waited for the clock to tick over to starting time.

Meanwhile, Gladio was pretty much feeling like an old hat at this sort of thing by now. So as long as they didn't have chocobos popping up every time they tried to do a lesson, he was going to consider the class a rousing success. And, as the more experienced instructor in this hulking duo, he had no issue with taking charge, clapping his hands together to rally up the troops (so to speak) and get their attention.

"Alright, everyone!" his voice boomed easily over the room. "Listen up! Hopefully, you're here for PE and Health, and, if not, well….stick around, anyway. It'll be good for you. Since it's the first class, we're going to mostly be focused on getting to know each other and where everyone's at, so we know what we're working with going forward."

"So let's start with the basics then shall we?" Dwight picked up again as he looked at the group. "I'm Dwight Hendrickson and this handsome fella over here" he added with a smirk at his teaching buddy, "is Gladio Amicitia. We are your instructors for this class this semester and we have some great things planned for you all so it should be an enjoyable semester for us all!"

"And now as we get started," Dwight continued, "let's have your name, why you are in this class, whether you consider yourself a beginner or more a pro for the athletic stuff, and what your favorite sport or outdoor activity is. Then we will get the Danger Shop up and going and run through a few basics to see where everyone is at. And as always, feel free to ask any questions you may have!"

Class had been instructed to meet on the lawn today. Bob eyed them all. "We're not using that room anymore. Anyway, today is our last class, so we might as well get out in the sun and fresh air. I'm told that sort of thing is important."

Don't look at him, he'd been a necromantic scholar before he'd died.

"I'm told there's an actual physical test they would like you to take. So, you can run half a mile, do fifty pushups and fifty situps, then do fifty more jumping jacks. Or," he said, gesturing at a piece of paper the moose had left. "You can sign there to say you did it, I'll back you up, and then we can sit and you can ask any questions you like about magic. Or you can stare at your phones or whatever you please."

No judging. Well, he might think you were a little peculiar if you chose to actually do the test, but that was your own affair.

"Right." Bob nodded firmly, narrowing his eyes at the Danger Shop's controls. "This week we're swimming. Don't worry if you didn't bring a suit; we've got magic to keep you dry." He waved at the box that Lydia had carried in. "Put on a belt and you'll stay completely dry." He paused. "You might still want to take off your shoes. They won't be any less heavy in the pool."

There would be a pool, right, room? He nodded and looked at Lydia expectantly.

Lydia nodded, frowning down at the controls. She'd reviewed what she was supposed to do, but she was still a little hesitant as she pressed a button.

There was a pool! Filled with pudding, but you know. Pool.

Lydia tried again, and it filled with green jello. Then something that looked like maybe orange drink? Then a fizzy, brown liquid that was probably Coke (or, god forbid, Pepsi) before finally it settled on water.

Carbonated water, yes. But at least it was clear.

Bob gave the room a stern and exasperated look. He supposed at least it wasn't just him.

"Well, enjoy swimming. It should be...interesting."

"This week," Bob began, arguing with the Danger Shop, "we're doing...no, I said..." The room flickered through several backdrops, including stone walls, wood panelling, and bright wallpaper, "No, not that! We're working on..." It settled as a field, then glitched into a torrential downpour, "Stop that! We'll be doing..." There were sparks, and it settled into a pink padded floor with a wall full of mirrors, peppy music, and a perky woman with a big grin and bigger hair at the front dressed in a leotard and legwarmers.

Bob sighed. "I give up. We're doing jazzercise." He threw up his hands and waved them at it.

Class was back in the Danger Shop today. Bob looked at them and sighed. "I've been told I have a list of things you have to do. So, today is jumping jacks. Doesn't that sound fun?" It didn't to him, but what did he know?

"So, today will be an exercise in...exercise, I suppose, but also in effort and reaction, which is as true in magic as in physics. Wear one of these armbands." He pointed to the box Lydia had hopefully been able to bring in. "Whenever you jump, as long as you're thinking about 'up', you'll go a little higher. First one to make it to the ceiling wins. And we've got prizes today! Chocolate chip cookies. First finished, first picked, so don't take too long if you still want some."

Class met on the lawn in front of the school today, and Bob was grinning. "Welcome back!" Was he suspiciously chipper today? Yes. Should you worry? Probably.

"Well, as this is supposed to be 'physical education', after all, why don't we get down to it? Today we're having a race!"

He gestured to the far side of the lawn, where flags were set up. "From here to there and back. Whoever makes it the most times, wins." Was that sadistic enough? No? "Oh, by the way, there are magical...spots...all around the place. You won't see them till you're just about on top of them. Nothing harmful, but they might slow you down. Or speed you up! Or turn you blue or green, or give you feathers, or...well, you get the idea. So - on your marks, get set, and go!"

Today class would be meeting in the Danger Shop. The instructor was a grumpy-faced Bob.

"Fine, apparently we're learning physical education," he said with a scowl. "But I see no reason not to incorporate magic into it. So, today you will be racing from here," he pointed down at the ground in case you needed that help, "to there." He pointed to the far side of the room, where a door helpfully flashed. It was a good distance out, and a fair distance up.

He (with a delight that had less to do with the course than with the ability to do so) pressed a button on the room's controls, and an elaborate three-dimensional hedge maze sprung up.

"Right." He clapped his hands. "Oh!" He gestured at Lydia if she was there. "You'll want to hand out the wings."

Those students hoping for actual, cool wings might be disappointed; they were magically enchanted water wings. But they still let you fly!

"First one there gets the satisfaction of being the first one there," Bob announced. "It's not like I had much time to plan."

"What?" Bob was arguing with a moose when the students entered. "No, magical education! What in heavens do I know about Phys Ed?" He asked derisively, scowling.

The moose snorted and left. Bob threw up his hands.

"Right!" He turned to the students. "I have no idea what's going on here, so for today let's go with introductions. What's your name, where are you from, and what sort of magical - or physical, whatever - education do you have?"

Well, the classroom was a tavern for your last class. No, not because the teachers forgot which class it was. But maybe a little but that.

"It's the last class of the semester," Magnus said. "And what better extreme sport to end it on than a good old fashioned tavern brawl. Am I right?"

"Yes." Savour this agreement Magnus, you wouldn't hear it often. "If you do well in this brawl there will be cake."

This was a lie, you were getting cake anyway because Magnus was a soft touch who thought everyone deserved cake. Well. Maybe not the jerks.

"Cake and fights!" he shouted, punching a fist into the air.

"It's almost traditional for this place." Look, NPC-akin was even trying to hide in a corner.

There was a pool full of ice today. Because this week, class. This week.

"So, this week kinda sucked," Magnus said slowly.

"Especially for those of you with limited options for relief," Cara said, then sneezed. Maker, she hated these weeks. "For whatever reason."

"That means it's time to swim!" Just what you all wanted, right? "It's like a polar plunge."

"With less chance of being attacked by bears."

Or was there?

Magnus quickly dashed over to the controls to jam on them until an iceberg with a polar bear on it appeared. Because you gotta have bears.

Cara looked far too pleased with this turn of events. "Have fun."
