There was a note posted on the classroom door for all of them to meet down in the danger room. When everyone entered they would find that the danger room was set up as a gigantic battlefield with two castle keeps on either side and a small two building ‘village’ in the middle. Yondaime grinned at everyone as they came in.

“Good Morning, welcome to your final! I’m sorry I disappeared last week, but I got pulled away to deal with a…. unique situation.” He wasn’t lying, it was new for him. “We’re continueing on with what we did before.” Next to him in a puff of smoke appeared the barrel of fish; real this time! Fun! “Team A and Team B choose a castle! The Fish is currently in control of Team A. Team C will occupy the village and either team can coerce them to join them. This is going to be a variation of capture the flag, whoever has the fish at the end of the battle is the winner. I’m not limiting any powers here that you might have, just keep things down enough where no body has to go to the clinic after class!” Arashi smirked and stepped away from the barrel. “As soon as you’re each in your area, have at the war.”

My Country, Friday

The person at the front of the class today was... very much not Yondaime.

Kerrigan smiled at the class-- a little sheepishly. "Hey, kids. My name's Lieutenant Kerrigan. I'm here to keep an eye on you while your usual teacher's away, uh, 'chasing his no-good husband'." She snickered. "I hope he brought kevlar. Anyway."

Country class. Shouldn't be hard, right?

"Since this is the last class before finals and all, uh, revisions seem to be the name of the game right now." She crossed her arms, trying to project as much cool as she could. "Before I give you guys the time for all that, though, I suppose it might be worthwhile to tell a little story about country building of my own."

She took a breath. A deep one. "Countries don't happen in a vacuum. They're born of war when the original governments are found unjust. Sometimes by a small group of people, sometimes by more. You have to have a good eye to rebuild, you have to be able to trust--" Her voice wavered, just for a minute, "--Your people. You have to have a plan. So, in observance of the upcoming final..."

She ran one hand through her hair.

"What is your plan? Think about that one, if you don't have one already. You'll need one, because building-- nations-- takes some... hard... decisions."

One more smile at the class. "And that's it. Study hard, class."

At the front of the class on Yondaime’s desk was a large tub of rubber fish; why not real fish? Because that would only end in tragedy.

Hmmmm fishy! )

"Good Morning everyone! Sorry about last week, there was a minor wee tiny fox emergency and I wasn't about to get out of the house." Unless it had been in some of Wade's clothes and that just wasn't gonna happen.

"Today we're talking about War. It's something that just about every country will have to face in their history. Just like before I've asked Nate to come and speak with everyone and he and I will have different opinions on how we each viewed things in our own countries. Nate?" Arashi looked over and motioned to the larger man to step forward again while he sat on his desk.

On the door of the class room was a note today.

No class today due to lack of clothing.

And then another in handwriting that was most certainly not Yondaime's unlike the previous one.

NOT DIRTY!

And a small doodle of Deadpool giving them all a disappointed look for thinking such thing.

When everyone came into class they would have immediately noticed a special guest there. “Good morning everyone. Since you’re going to be running your countries from this point on I thought I would share with some different perspectives on how people run a country by inviting Cable here to speak with you all and tell you about his country, and I’ll tell you about mine.”

Class! )

[Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] spring_lost for the co-write on class.]

Yondaime's mind was obviously someplace else during class today.

"I'm glad to see those of you are here are safe and sound. I was going to have a guest today, but it can wait until things are more settled around the island."

He passed out a hand out to everyone who was there. "I'd like you all to just study up on diplomacy and decide what kind of stance your country will have in regards to the other countries in class."
[identity profile] konoha-flash.livejournal.com
“Good morning everyone!” Yondaime grinned brightly, looking a wee bit on the tan side. “I hope you all had a good vacation, I know I did and I’m really looking forward to you all presenting your countries! There should be elements from every class that we have had to make at least a semi cohesive country and when you present your country please point out what you have and how it works for you. Questions will be asked once each person is done with their presentation, so everyone feel free to ask what you’d like to know.”

[Feel free to handwave the presentation if you want, but I’m really curious to hear what everyone came up with. XD Wait for OCD PLZ]

Yondaime sat at his desk wand waited for everyone to trickle in before he started. "Good Morning everyone. Today is the last class we have together before you present your countries to us and so today you're going to be working on and adding things to your country that make them unique and make people want to go there."

He got up off the desk and started walking around. "Each country has something to make them unique. Be it major cities like New York, sights to see like the pyramids, festivals, great food, so on and so forth. This class you're just deciding what those things are for your particular country that makes it unique."

"Next week is a break and the classes after you're all going to present your countries to us. I want you to include everything that we've covered so far and include a map of your country with as many details as you can include. After that, we'll start into the United Fandom Nations and the real fun can start."
[identity profile] konoha-flash.livejournal.com
Yondaime might have looked a little bit bedraggled and out of it as he came into class almost fifteen minutes late. He rubbed his eyes and got himself a cup of coffee before plopping down at his desk.

“Imports and Exports, every place has them and some of them are really really weird,” he paused to take a big drink of coffee. “For example there are some countries that export guano, or bat feces. Why would people want to import something like guano? Or manure? Or eels skin? There are usually good reasons that you wouldn’t necessarily think of.

“So today we’re going to make things pretty easy. I want you all to work in teams to look up a really weird import or export and find the reason why they need it. Then I want each of you to come up with 3 imports and 3 exports for your country, one of which has to be kind of weird and you’ll need a reason for each.”

And while they all did that Yondaime would be at his desk, trying to stay awake.

[Plz wait for OCD]

Arashi was having a bad couple of days and it probably showed on his face. He put on a smile though as the class filtered in and began once they were all seated. Government, it sounds boring, but believe me when I say your country will most likely fall apart without it. Now there are a lot of different types of government and I’d like you all to choose what kind of government your country will have and then try to make it unique as well.” He passed out some packets with the information on the governments as well as the other topic.

“Now when you have a government, you typically have a military to protect the government and country. Some countries have large militaries and others have barely anything to speak of. You’ll need to decide how important a military force would be for your country and what it would be primarily comprised of because you’ll never know when you’re going to need them.

[plz wait for OCD]
[identity profile] konoha-flash.livejournal.com
Once everyone was seated, Yondaime came into class carrying a gigantic stack of large books. He dropped them down on the desk with a large thud, which caused some of the tomes to spray out large amounts of dust.

“History!” He smiled as he turned to the class. “How did your country come to be? Was it part of a larger country and split off in a revolution? Was it indigenous tribes that banded together? What kind of culture did your ancient people have? What do they all believe? Why did the people decide to make your country their home?” Yondaime paused in his questions and smiled. “History influences the way your country is run, how the people react to things, different countries, religion, government, military, art, music, traditions. The list goes on and on.”

“So today, I want you to come up with a basic history for your country. You can go into as much depth as you want to. You can of course work with your fellow countries to see if your history overlaps or intersects with each other. You don’t have to present anything today, but I will want it included in your midterm where you all present your countries to the class.”

[Plz wait for OCD It's all yours.]
[identity profile] konoha-flash.livejournal.com
Arashi waited until everyone was inside and seated before he started speaking. “So, today we’re going to work on the topography and geography of your countries. Decide what geographical features you want your country to have, where important cities are, roads and etc.”

“Bear in mind that climate can be affected by geography and such, so you’ll want to think over were you put things. Also, if you’re adding a mountain range or a river try talking with your neighboring countries to see if it’s something that crosses your borders. Now you’re not limited to mountains and rivers, there are lakes, plateaus, plains, swamps, forests, giant holes in the ground, caves, lagoons, volcanoes, beaches. Whatever you guys can think of. Have fun with it, since that’s the point of designing your own counties, we’ll get into the serious stuff later.”

There might have been a sly smirk on his face, but that had nothing to do with the fact that it was his birthday and that he felt confident that he'd kept the fact from people.

[Wait for OCD plz]

As the students came in Yondaime was at the front of the class tacking up a large map of some made up world. He smiled at everyone once he was done. “Well like the syllabus promises, today you are getting your countries and naming them,” he explained. “Each country has a number corresponding to it and you’ll find out which is your country by looking at the number taped down on your desk. Also each country has a strength and a weakness and the two smallest countries have two strengths to make up for being so small.” Yondaime shrugged. “It only seemed fair.”

“As for names, the sky is the limit,” he grinned. “I don’t care if you call your country the ‘land of rainbows and glitter. Usually though a countries name reflects the country… with the exception of Greenland and Iceland, I don’t understand those ones, but I don’t think that will matter much here. Once you’ve got a name for your country you can come up and write it on the map then meet with the countries that border yours.”

[Plz wait for OCD.]
[identity profile] konoha-flash.livejournal.com
When the students came into the class room, it was quite a colorful display. There were flags hanging all over the walls, including the flag from the Fire country hanging behind Yondaime’s desk where he sat and waited for everyone to arrive.

"Good Morning!" He grinned and passed out copies of the syllabus. "And welcome! This is the class where you get to make and run your own countries, including deciding your government, culture, and everything inbetween. Since this is the first day of class and I’m sure at least some of you are still reeling and getting used to how things are here at Fandom, we’re going to take it easy and go through some introductions, then for future classes I’d like to get some ideas for things you all would like to have as exports and imports for your countries."

[Plz wait for OCDness! Go for it!]
