All Over Fandom High School, Early-Ish Friday Morning
Friday, April 30th, 2021 12:16 pmThe school didn't look too good. Dark vines threaded along its walls and poked out through its open doors and windows. The main entrance was a pulsing hive of thorny vegetation; clearly, something was wrong here.
( Let's hope these things aren't indestructible somehow. )
They always say 'don't split up', but in a building as sizable as Fandom High, it was hard not to. Especially when no one had any idea of what they were looking for - or if there was anything to find at all.
( Travis had been in plenty of other schools. He'd even been in them with a chainsaw before. )
They stumbled and fought their way through the school, but found nothing. Or-- actually, was that something glowing through the vines? Looking up the tower staircase, there was a strange blue sheen on the curving creepers.
( 'Do we fight our way up, or take the fast route?' Illyana asked. )
The dome was the first to fall away, its safety parameters satisfied. Portalocity connections flared back into life. Then trolls began to retreat, and mirrors fell apart and faded into the ground. Within an hour, all that remained was the last sprinkling of ash snow as the clouds began to part, and a small, lingering feeling of terror, growing weaker until by midday, it was gone.
[[ THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE FOR PARTICIPATING! ]]
