"This week's going to be a bit of potpourri," Alex said, setting down her tea on her desk. "You'll be doing closing arguments, which are very similar to opening arguments, except that you'll want to incorporate points from the trial itself. If you got a damning admission on cross, if you made salient arguments with your own witnesses, this is the time to pull those out."
"Or." And that was probably unexpected. "Or, you can postpone your closing arguments to next week, and instead ask questions about the draft you're working on so far. In that case, I'll expect a slightly more impressive close."
"In the meantime: we'll be reviewing for next week's final. Ask questions. And if you'd like to go over a past scenario that you're fuzzy on, I have the Danger Shop controls set up. You can do more Voir Dire, or examining witnesses, or anything you'd like."
"Shall we?"

Class was still in the Danger Shop, and would be for the foreseeable future. It made Alex feel like a real prosecutor again. Call it a perk of the job.

( Opening Statements, and Witnesses )
(OOC: Alex's sample opening statement (in the marked OCD thread below) discusses violent crime and predatory behavior, and thus could be triggery. Please avoid if that is upsetting. The rest of class should be fine.)

Class today was meeting in the Danger Room, which they might realize looked very much like a courtroom. Their professor entered with a cup of tea in one hand and a briefcase in the other.
