Anakin was in front of a large tic-tac-toe board today, and there were stations throughout the park as well, so that was probably a good sign, right?

...was anything on Wednesdays ever a good sign?

"Today, we will have four teams of five and you will compete against each other in an epic tic-tac-toe battle!" Anakin announced grandly. "But in order to receive an X or an O, you must complete a task! The first team to either three in a row or four corners will win."

Summer was apparently having some kind of mysterious jello crisis and needed to enlist in Prompto's shenanigan spying services once more, which was fine, because he was planning on being here, anyway. He was really coming to enjoy bringing Noctra out for some sunshine and fresh air, to boldly tempt fate in being called to participate and proving once and for all (as if there was ever any doubt) that he was exactly the kind of person who absolutely delighted in dressing his daughter up as a watermelon out in public.

Oh, yeah. There were going to be soooooo many pictures taken. He was probably going to get some shots of the game, too, while he was at it.

Marc had heard about this thing by rumor and he had time on his hands so he figured sure, why not? He found a seat to watch the chaos.

So evidently, setting up and trying to manage a shop of your own and actually make it work was a bit harder than Gojyo had anticipated. It was eating up a lot of his time, but it was good in a way as it was serving to distract him from just how very stuck he seemed to be in terms of leaving the island.

But even so, he needed a change of scenery. The hotel and the shop were not that entertaining really. So, Gojyo was there, sitting in the stands, watching the chaos of whatever was happening in the park today.

Even if he had started paying attention to the days of the week, Boc definitely didn't come crawling out of his shop enough to even know why the park should be avoided on Wednesdays. Of course, once he saw all the activity going on, he was immediately ready to retreat and scamper back into his hermitage, but then he heard his name being called.

Or was it his name? It could have just been something that sounded like his name, but he was so startled by the possibility that he could only stop and gawk and stare for a moment.

Libby was trying her best (and failing a little bit) to not look too disappointed when she got her shirt.

This was kind of cute, actually. Not even remotely hideous. It wasn't even worth sending a selfie of it to Zo to make her jealous with!

TIC-TAC-TOE GAME ONE

Team X First Move

You pick the center box! Your task is to pull Sidon across the pond using a rope while Sidon sits on an inflatable beaver.

Team O First Move

You pick the middle left box! There is a banana waaaaaaaaaaaaay high in a tree and no available ladder. Boc and Stark must work together to retrieve it.

Team X Second Move

Upper right hand corner! You must all go sit in the corner of the park and think about what you did for five solid minutes.

...Anakin had started running out of tasks, okay.

Team O Second Move

Team O takes the bottom left box to stop Team X from winning! Anakin hands Lana giant foam hands and puts her on one side of the pond. Arthur stands on the other. Lana, you must get Arthur to guess the word "newlywed" through charades.

This'll be good.

Team X Third Move

Team X goes for the upper left box this time! Steve R and Eleanor must make a bed while holding hands.

Team O Third Move

Team O counters X's diagonal gambit by taking the bottom right slot. Steve M. must write down as many obscure animals as he can in fifteen seconds!

...and then mime them for the group to figure out.

Team X Final Move!

Top center box for the win! Sidon must paint a group portrait of his team without using his hands!

TIC-TAC-TOE GAME TWO

Team X First Move

Team X goes upper left hand corner! Graham and Guillermo must make a bed together while holding hands.

Team O First Move

Team O counters with the bottom right hand box. Vi writes down as many obscure animals as she can think of in 15 seconds!

...and then mimes them for her teammates to guess.

Team X Second Move

Team X goes for the bottom left box! Raiden puts on giant foam hands and stands on one side of the pond. Gray stands on the other. Raiden must now get Gray to guess "ceiling fan" using only charades!

Team O Second Move

Team O stops X from winning by blocking at center left. There is a banana waaaaaaaaaaaaay high in a tree and no available ladder. Belle and Libby must work together to retrieve it.

Team X Third Move

Team X goes for the upper right box this time. The entire team goes into a corner of the park for five minutes to think about what they've done.

...this hasn't gotten more exciting than when the last team did it.

Team O Third Move

The Teams O are realizing that Teams O are always kind of screwed in tic-tac-toe. Faced with an impossible choice, they block X at the upper center position. Jon must paint a portrait of his teammates without using his hands!
