Anakin was in front of a large tic-tac-toe board today, and there were stations throughout the park as well, so that was probably a good sign, right?

...was anything on Wednesdays ever a good sign?

"Today, we will have four teams of five and you will compete against each other in an epic tic-tac-toe battle!" Anakin announced grandly. "But in order to receive an X or an O, you must complete a task! The first team to either three in a row or four corners will win."

Leaving Beta alone with her thoughts and nothing to do was always a bad idea, but at least here she wasn't worrying about Aloy out in the wilds somewhere, going one-on-one with a Slaughterspine. So hey, her anxiety didn't have a chance to ratchet up much beyond worrying about which of the remaining tasks they'd get stuck with. So far everything they'd done was off the same list of things that the first group had done...
