Did anyone want to be awake for this after the kraken drill?

Was that going to stop Anakin? Of course not!

The bleachers were down on the beach today, along with eight large rafts floating semi-precariously out in the water. Was this tempting a real kraken to arrive?

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe.

"Today it's really, ridiculously hot," Anakin yelled through the megaphone. "So I'm letting you get wet! You're welcome!"

Wait to hear what you're doing first before expressing your gratitude.

"You will be conducting a water balloon fight out there on the water. You will be given hand-held balloon launchers, and a bucket full of water balloons." Which may or may not contain water. "You will have teams of eight. Fastest team to pass a water balloon all the way down the line wins. You get a time penalty at the end for each balloon that breaks along the way. Listen for your names!''

Stark had not managed to get back to sleep after the radio so he was clutching some coffee in one hand while hoping he might be spared this week. He would not be.

Liz had not been sleeping very well to begin with these last few days so she was very tired and distracted but she had told Prompto she would go down to the Shenanigans and this might be the last chance she had to do one for a while so she was there and trying to stay focused.

Rey was still a little annoyed after this morning, which meant she was annoyed about knowing she would be called even though she actually thought of some of these things as a sort of training and therefore did it to herself.

The best was fine, though. Everything else sucked.

Connor had just been out for a bit, seeing he was up and all thanks to the bloody alarm going off that morning. He saw the group of people at the park and remembered last week... only too late to turn around and leave so he committed and joined the group to see what was going on this time.

Gray had fallen asleep on a bleacher, but that had nothing to do with the drill that morning and everything to do with him being Gray.

Clint was still tired from this morning, so he was mainlining some coffee while Lexi napped on the bleacher next to him like only a small child could.

He tried not to laugh when Kitty got called up, because he was a good, sympathetic husband, and not because he knew she'd try to put that shirt on him if he wasn't nice.

Eliot had slept just fine, he didn't know what you people were complaining about.

Oh sure, there was the bit where he woke up when the alarm first went off, but he and Margo had been more than capable of putting up a noise cancelling spell while half-asleep, and had gone right back to bed.

"Yeah, I am literally taking continuous psychic damage from this and I absolutely cannot," Steph declared, staring in horror at the shirt for a moment or two before she held it out at arm's length and just dropped it, then kicked a little sand over it.

Maybe she was still a little sleep-deprived and cranky from the kraken drill, but it totally, logically followed that in keeping with the shirts' theme she could just, like... strip down to her sports bra, right? Because that was happening.

Goose eyed the shirt and while he normally didn't really care, he figured it was just easier to not worry about wearing a shirt for this activity and opted to go shirtless.

Not that he really needed much incentive for that, there was just usually a lot more jello shots beforehand though.

Graham held out his shirt with a frown on his face, brow furrowed with confusion. He tilted his head to one side, then the other, tried turning the shirt upside for help, and then turned it right side back up before scratching the back of his neck.

"What is this?" he finally asked outloud. "Some kind of pizza?"

He might figure it out once he got a load of some of the other shirts and realized the theme.

Once Isabela realised shirtlessness was an option, she wasted very little time pushing the her bodice down to waist height, giving everyone an eyeful of the bustier valiantly keeping her bosom in check.

Diego didn't usually have opinions on this kind of stuff but...this shirt was fugly. And he just got back from the 60's so he knew fugly.

Oh well. At least they were getting into the water to combat the heat.

Okay, even Buck thought these shirts were suspect. Was he going to keep it anyway? Absolutely. Had to keep the collection going.

Maybe it was just her leftover exhaustion from the kraken drill that morning, but Libby looked at her shirt with almost a sigh of resignation, like God just decided that week to really be testing her on the whole shirtlessness thing.

Which made her almost a little worried about what might be in store for her at the clinic this week.

And she was very on the fence about her weekly Ugly Shirt Selfie to Zo picture this week, too.

Sakaki was a little sleep-deprived thanks to the drill, but, thankfully, not quite to bursting-into-tears over this shirt levels yet.

But it was kind of close.

She was mostly focusing instead on if she should start a petition or letter writing campaign to support more Cats on Shirts at these things, especially if it meant nothing like these ones ever again.

She might have, if she hadn't been around long enough to know that it would probably not work anyway.
