Did anyone want to be awake for this after the kraken drill?

No.

Was that going to stop Anakin? Of course not!

The bleachers were down on the beach today, along with eight large rafts floating semi-precariously out in the water. Was this tempting a real kraken to arrive?

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe.

"Today it's really, ridiculously hot," Anakin yelled through the megaphone. "So I'm letting you get wet! You're welcome!"

Wait to hear what you're doing first before expressing your gratitude.

"You will be conducting a water balloon fight out there on the water. You will be given hand-held balloon launchers, and a bucket full of water balloons." Which may or may not contain water. "You will have teams of eight. Fastest team to pass a water balloon all the way down the line wins. You get a time penalty at the end for each balloon that breaks along the way. Listen for your names!''

"We can do it!" Scott called encouragingly, even giving a thumbs up to his teammate. (The dude appeared to have one eye? That didn't bode well for their aim, did it? Whatever, don't be a dick, Scott.) "You've got this, man!"

His aim was better with weaponry than when he was throwing things!

"I'll try." That sounded convincing, right?

The first balloon did not quite make it to its intended target. But it didn't break, at least!

"... I'll try again."

"Pff, everyone gets a mulligan," Scott assured him, waving a hand. "It's part of playing any game. You're just doing it right!"

Scott's "my kid does sports" was starting to come through, apparently.

Maybe Stark needed some encouraging dad energy in his life?

"Haven't used this before," he said by way of explanation. And he hadn't slept much. That didn't help.

He took a breath, adjusted his aim, and tried again.

"You're a natural, dude!" Scott insisted, even though that was clearly not really true. And this time, thanks in part to a graceless lunge on Scott's part -- at least he didn't fall in! -- the balloon was caught. "Look at that! Teamwork at its finest."

If you had only been closer, Stark, you'd be getting a high five.
