Did anyone want to be awake for this after the kraken drill?

No.

Was that going to stop Anakin? Of course not!

The bleachers were down on the beach today, along with eight large rafts floating semi-precariously out in the water. Was this tempting a real kraken to arrive?

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe.

"Today it's really, ridiculously hot," Anakin yelled through the megaphone. "So I'm letting you get wet! You're welcome!"

Wait to hear what you're doing first before expressing your gratitude.

"You will be conducting a water balloon fight out there on the water. You will be given hand-held balloon launchers, and a bucket full of water balloons." Which may or may not contain water. "You will have teams of eight. Fastest team to pass a water balloon all the way down the line wins. You get a time penalty at the end for each balloon that breaks along the way. Listen for your names!''

Feeling the need to catch up for the truly spectacular start for their team, Graham finally managed to get the balloon and, in turn, prepared to launch it over to the next raft.

"Fire in the hole!" he called out as he sent the balloon flying toward Will.

Its subsequent splash into the water between them in a pathetic little arch that seemed like all it was missing was a slide-whistle side effect was...almost impressive in its lack of climax.

But Graham wasted no time in trying again, even though there would be a few more tried before he managed to get one to Will.

Look, he was working on being better with his range weapons, but he clearly had a long, long way to go.

Scott could totally do this, okay? He had made slingshots like this before.

He carefully loaded up his balloon, looking over to his target and offering a, "Hey!" to Amaya to give her a heads up before he yanked on the balloon and sent it...arcing up and falling with a dramatic splat.

...cool. Real cool.

And here Amaya was all ready to go, figuring she'd have no issues with catching a balloon, thought she had it pegged where Scott would be sending it, only to watch as it went well beyond her calculations, and...

"Try a little lower this time!" she called out helpfully. "Maybe a little more torque!"

"Yeah, I don't know what happened there," Scott admitted, frowning and even going so far as to pop his thumb in his mouth for a second before holding it up to get a gauge of the wind. (Because that had been the issue before, obviously. The wind.)

He lined up the shot again, angling lower and pulling the slingshot back further, and sent the second balloon sailing neatly towards Amaya.

Second time was the charm, apparently!

"Your name is 'Buck'?" Eliot asked with a smirk, even as he loaded up his water balloon launcher. "Seriously?"
