Lulu smiled at the class as they came into the classroom. "Good morning," she said, sweeping across the room; there was something new in her elegant gait today, something that showed that she was far more excited than she would normally be seen. Today, we are talking about sex. [NSFW] )

[OOC: NSFW, as Lulu's classes usually are; I did my best to keep it on the technical/tasteful side, but if there are any problems definitely contact me. Also, please wait for OCD is up!]

Today, the art stations were set up with modeling clay, the plain kind, and...Play-Doh. Quite an assortment of Play-Doh, actually. There was even neon pink. And fuschia.

"Everything we've covered in this class so far," Steve began, "has been two-dimensional art. This is three-dimensional art. Sculpture! Tiny sculpture," he added. "We don't really have time for anything on a larger scale, although if you'd like to come back during the week and work on something, the room is always unlocked and there's plenty of clay." After a moment's thought he added, "Please do not take the room being unlocked as permission to steal all my art supplies, because I will track you down. Okay? Okay. Anyway, yes, sculpture. Sculpt! It can be a thing, an animal, plant, person, whatever or it can be something abstract, just playing around with curves and angles. Just one quick note, the Play-Doh doesn't dry well, so you might not want to make anything you want to keep out of it. You can always paint the clay after it dries."

Sam had the biggest cup of coffee that the Perk would sell as he came to open the library. As much fun as his road trip with Dean had been, it had left him more wiped than he'd expected.

When Sam got to class, he was surprised to find the room empty. He was even more surprised when pretty much everyone else filed in, except for Vala. When the bell rang, and there was still no sign of her, Sam facepalmed and went up to the front of the room.

"Uh, hey everyone. Our teacher seems to be MIA this morning, but luckily, I have an idea of what we were supposed to talk about today. Today's topic was supposed to be Paganism, since there's a big pagan holiday this Wednesday - Samhain, although most people call it Halloween. Specifically, we were going to talk about the Salem Witch Trials, 'cause there's a lot of misconceptions about what happened back then, and it's important to set the record straight."

Sam went on and on and talked about the trials, and about what was most likely true versus what had been made up and overblown over the centuries. When he was done, there was still time left in class, and after some near-flailing, Sam made everyone promise not to leave and fled back to the library, returning with a DVD.

"This movie has to do with the witch trials, sort of," he said as he got the movie started. "I'll be hiding in the back now, if anyone needs me."

Fraser opened up study hall this morning, finally getting wise to what students seemed to like and proving donuts and various juices.

With that done, he took a seat at the front of the classroom and dug out some paperwork that he'd yet to finish.

The classroom was set up to look like a creepy lab again this week. A large monster with an empty cranial cavity was set up on a gurney on one side of the room. A large container with all kinds Japanese of candy was set up along the other. Prof Tomoe stood in the middle of the classroom, in front of two people who had their back to the class. He waited until all the students filed in before speaking.

"Good afternoon, class! Seeing that tomorrow is Halloween, I thought that I'd leave you with extra candy for the event. Today, however, we're going to talk about the second most important part of mad science: dealing with minions."

He stepped over to the chalkboard and wrote "YOU > MINIONS". He turned back to face the class. "Regardless of whatever kind of science you specialize in, the most important thing is that you have flunkies to do your bidding. Henchpeople are wonderful things. You can use them to fetch you things, 'volunteer' for your experiments, even fight your enemies for you. Today, you're going to try to get your minion to finish your project for you."

He pointed to the thing on the slab. "This monster is almost finished. All it needs is a fresh brain put in, a laser installed on its right arm, and its brain cap sewn up. Your task today is to get that done without ever touching the creature yourself. To do that, you may choose one of the two holographic minions at the front of the class. One of them is typical of the kind of flunky you'll find in a traditional mad scientist lab. The other one of them is a copy of one of my lab assistants from back in Japan. Each has their own challenge, but never forget that they are just the flunky. You are better than them in every way."

Josh was on his cell phone when the government students began arriving. "Ron? Where are you?"

A pause.

"You knew about that bookstore. And the coffee shop."

A longer pause.

"I didn't exactly ask for a class this early in the morning, you know."

A really, really long pause.

"I'm not listening to you singing the Partridge Family at me." He clicked his phone closed.

A tall man with a serious expression on his face and a buzz cut poked his head into the classroom a moment later, glanced around and then walked to the back of the room.

He had an earpiece and a dark suit. Anyone who had ever watched the news could probably guess who was going to come in after him.

Josh bounced to his feet, grinning. "Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States."

A distinguished looking man with a warm smile came into the classroom and shook Josh's hand, clearly thrilled to see him. They exchanged pleasantries before he turned towards the students.

"My name is Jed Bartlet," he said, "and I'm the President of the United States back where Josh comes from. Someone else is apparently President in this dimension?" Josh nodded, looking a bit pained. "I understand that you are learning about the Executive Branch. Josh decided to call in a favor and get me to guest lecture."

He sat down at Josh's desk and smiled. "I'm here to answer any questions you might have about the historical powers of the presidency or my experiences with the job in particular." He looked around the room. "Don't be shy."

Tuesday, October 30, Second Period

Upon entering the classroom, students will notice that there's a blond man sitting in a chair next to Aziraphale's, and that the pair are engaged in quiet conversation. Those who are enrolled in Wilson's class, or who have frequented The Devil's Nest may recognize the man. Once everyone is assembled, Aziraphale stands and sets aside the teacup he was holding, giving everyone a warm smile.

Meet your surprise guest speaker )
