Art 101, Period 4, Class 8 (Monday 10-22)

Today, the art stations were set up with modeling clay, the plain kind, and...Play-Doh. Quite an assortment of Play-Doh, actually. There was even neon pink. And fuschia.

"Everything we've covered in this class so far," Steve began, "has been two-dimensional art. This is three-dimensional art. Sculpture! Tiny sculpture," he added. "We don't really have time for anything on a larger scale, although if you'd like to come back during the week and work on something, the room is always unlocked and there's plenty of clay." After a moment's thought he added, "Please do not take the room being unlocked as permission to steal all my art supplies, because I will track you down. Okay? Okay. Anyway, yes, sculpture. Sculpt! It can be a thing, an animal, plant, person, whatever or it can be something abstract, just playing around with curves and angles. Just one quick note, the Play-Doh doesn't dry well, so you might not want to make anything you want to keep out of it. You can always paint the clay after it dries."

She had never done much with sculpting, but she had always wanted to. Therefore, she wasn't playing with the Play-Doh

Naminé was musing and sculpting little masks. And possibly a keyblade or two.

John played with the Play-Doh. He kinda wished he had one of those presses that made the spaghetti-shapes from back in the day.

Sulley was not good with small. He tried a number of tiny things, then gave up and ended up commandeering most of the green Play-Doh to make a decent-sized sculpture of a big green ball with legs, arms and an eye (http://www.intercot.com/themeparks/magickingdom/images/MikeWazowski.jpg). He called it 'Mike'.

Naminé liked using the wrong colors to sculpt with. She wasn't sure why, either.
