Phoebe is standing in front of the classroom. She looks exhausted and not her usual perky self.

"As Professor Camulus has been... called away, I'll be your teacher for the rest of the semester. Luckily for you guys, the semester is almost over." She manages a smile at that. "Your final is on Wednesday, so I have put together two study guides for you in hopes of making your studying a little less nerve-wracking. Everything on the final can be found within those study guides." She smiled faintly. "The essay portion of the final will consist of you writing an essay of one of the poems, ballads or stories that we have covered in class over the semester. A list of those can also be found in the study guides."

She perched on the edge of the desk.

"Questions?"

Zordon's announcements do not resemble anything so much as a demented almanac of an alarm clock, really, coming so early before first period.

"Good morning. Fifty-two years ago today, the Geneva Conference began. Not coincidentally, a conference of the same name took place six thousand, nine hundred and thirty-eight years ago today, several galaxies away. That one, however, ended with a bang when the host solar system's sun went supernova unexpectedly. In news more relevant to you, however, swarms of butterflies have been seen congregating in various open sections of the school buildings. Please use caution when walking in patches of sunlit hallway; melted butter is slippery. You may wish to take advantage of this by keeping toast or baked goods on your person today. That will be all; thank you."

"Sorry about last week, class. I was not feeling well. I hope you all used the time to prepare your final projects?"

"Please turn in your sestina or Shakespearean sonnet. Final grades will be posted on Friday."

"Also, I have decided not to return to Fandom after this term. I hope you've learned something with me, and I wish you all a safe, regret-free life."

"All right, guys, your projects are due next week. Sign in, then hit the library and work on them today, 'kay?"

OOC: Boss is in today. Don't expect much LJ time. :)

"Good morning!" Broots is once again perky in the morning.

"Beginners, your final is going to be this Friday. Intermediate class, your presentations are due a week from today. Intermediates? You're dismissed from Friday's class. I will assume that you are in the library, working on your projects.

For today, you guys get a work book and you get to choose what problems to work. If you'd rather ask me anything about previous assignments, feel free to do that or work on your projects. Have fun!"

Mac must have been by J,GOB's because there is coffee and muffins galore.

"Morning Class, Today I would like you to design and build a habitat for our favorite holographic dinosaur. Make sure that that the habitat will have the following things:

1. Play Area
2. Sleep Area
3. Bologna Feeding Station"

"All righty gang. I'm really happy with what I've seen so far. Go ahead and load the page or pages into your index and let's go live! I can't wait to see your final touches."

Zero opened up the library as usual and began studying. Study, study, study.

"Sorry, guys," Josh said. "I tried to get the Founding Fathers to show up for a Springer-style throw down but James Madison had a thing that he couldn't get out of. If it works out next fall, you're all invited back, okay?"

He sat down at his desk and linked his fingers behind his hands. "Today is the last day of class before your final on Friday. I'll be nice and not feed you any new information--mostly because I've told you all about the federal system and the way the states work is enough to drive you to drink--and you're all too young."

He smiled. "So say 'thank you, Professor Lyman,' and get to memorizing your Supreme Court cases, your Constitution and the 535 members of Congress." He raised an eyebrow. "Kidding on that last one."
[identity profile] professor-lyman.livejournal.com
"Here it is," Josh said, handing out the exam, "the last time you have to remember US history for the year." He smiled. "It's been a pleasure teaching all of you. I look forward to seeing you back next year. Except for you seniors--because if you're back, that means you've flunked this test and that would be bad."

The final exam. Josh is evil, yes. )

"Our field trip is Monday," Tommy says, "in place of a final exam. We'll be gone for about two hours on Monday afternoon, visiting a nearby dig site. I'd like you guys to spend today's class period coming up with questions that you'd like to ask the people working at the site. Or finishing up your robots from last class, if you haven't yet."

[ooc: we won't actually be going where Tommy thinks we're going. just so you know.]

Janet is standing in the front of the classroom, a very large stack of notes in front of her.

"I know things have been sketchy lately, but I've been informed *handwavily omg* that Dr. Pierson has been having some personal problems. Which means that today we're going to in a totally handwavy fashion, yay review the entire history of western civilization." She grimaced. "In the space of one hour."

She might have been up extra-late last night, trying to review all the course materials. Which would explain the huge travel mug of coffee she's clutching for dear life.

OOC: My nighttime (read: after 4:30 CST) access currently depends on if my husband feels like playing a computer game or starting up his Playstation 2. Woe.

The Danger Shop once again resembles a moderately busy city street. There are no robotic animals in sight.

"Your final exam is next Friday morning, guys. Take this class to do some practice runs and review what you've learned this semester. Be sure to study your driver's manuals between now and next week!"

Daniel spends the first ten minutes of the class talking through several passages that he's selected from Dancing Skeletons by Katherine Dettwyler which would have been shared had the mun not had to prepare for company all day instead of typing up omg and encourages them to *handwavily* speak up.

Then he dismisses them to go and work on their projects.

[[ooc: Sorry for the lateness. Blame aforementioned company. But yay dinner out!]]
