Once everyone was seated and the noise had calmed down he stood up and walked around to the front of his desk. He surveyed the class before he spoke, “Good morning and welcome to Engineering 101,” he said in a clear voice, hoping that his nervousness wasn’t visible, “I’m Lieutenant Commander Geordi LaForge, you may address me as either Commander or Professor LaForge, I have no preference as to which.”
