Engineering 101 - Wednesday Period 2, Lesson Four, January 31

Geordi was at his desk, sitting patiently as he waited for the students to enter and sit down at their desks. Once everyone was seated and people had stopped talking, he stood up and moved around to the front of his desk to begin his lecture.

“Good morning,” he said cheerfully, “today we’re going to begin the first of the engineering disciplines that we’ll be looking at in more detail,” he put up an overhead, “today’s lecture will be on areospace engineering

He put up a couple more overheads, “aerospace engineering is the study of aircraft and spacecraft,”

Geordi looked at his students, “Now for today’s lesson I would like you to write an overview of aerospace engineering, details that I’d like for you to include are a brief description of its history and specific elements relating to it, and it can be as detailed as you like,”

[ooc: wait for the OCD is up!]

Tannim scribbled down notes among the sketches of spaceships. Which may or may not resemble the ships on Strifenova Celestial.

Rikku took lots of notes. With comments and opinions in the margins.

Ami wrote a concise and well thought out essay.

Bridge's review of Aerospace Engineering kind of gets sidetracked in to a rant about the flaws in the design of the Terra Venture colony, but he eventually gets back on track and manages to cover all the important points.

Rikku's assignment went into a lengthy tangent about her dad's airship, how they uncovered it in the ocean, how nobody knew that it was going to work until it did, and other related matters. But did actually cover other things as well.

Tannim's assignment mentions aerodynamics and conservation of fuel resources.

AMi hands in her paper with some time to spare and spends the rest of class doing some more research.

Willow handed in a nice, thick essay. Luckily she'd brought a spare three hole punch and a binder with her for just these sorts of occasions.

Bridge almost *forgets* to hand in the paper. He's a little distracted today.

Rikku's handwriting is even worse than usual when she's excited. But she does indeed hand it in.

Lucas was here, mostly keeping to himself though, laptop within arm's reach. Geek.
