Engineering 101 - Wednesday Period 2, March 7, Lesson 8

Geordi was seated at his desk as the students came into the engineering classroom, "Good morning," he said once they had sat down, "today you're going to be having your midterm," the students would find copies of the test paper on their desk.

1. List at least five disciplines of engineering that we will not cover in the syllabus and describe them in one paragraph each.

2. Chose two disciplines that we have covered so far and write a detailed outline of them.

"You have the period to work on the test, good luck,"

[ooc: wait for the OCD is up!]

Willow handwavily took the test and scored scarily high. This was possibly helped by the way she made up her own extra credit questions.

Bridge managed to stick to one paragraph each for four of the topics he listed in the first part of the test, but he might've gone in to a *lot* of detail with his description of "genetic engineering". What? It was a topic that was really rather important to him.

For the second part of the test he discussed aerospace and biomechanical engineering.

All in all, he scored pretty high.

For the first question, Rikku came up with five with (very brief) summaries. Even if she did include train engineers as one of the possibitilities.

For the second part, she picked airship mechanics and the chemical one they'd discussed, and wrote a lot on each. With lots of exclamation points and ADHD sentences.

She did fairly well. High B / low A, depending on how much he takes off for that train engineer bit. ;)

Lucas aced the test being the irritating genius punk he was.

John handwaved like a handwavey thing, and was fairly precise on his answers. Except for writing "cyborg timetravel" as one of the disciplines.

Low A/High B

Peter did quite well on the test, scoring a mid-range A.

"Professor?" Lucas approached Geordi as soon as he could.

"I didn't make it to the class before Spring Break. I meddled with something I probably shouldn't have and wound up stuck in the 19th century."

Lucas should have realized that it wouldn't have even made him blink, but he hesitated anyway. "Thanks. I'll do that."
