Library, Monday
Monday, April 18th, 2011 07:02 amIt was the start of the final week of school, and William was feeling more than a bit apphrensive as he opened up the library. Not about the final exams- those he felt more than confident about. But about graduation, classmates leaving... the possibility that Father O'Brien might at any moment decide to write and announce he was withdrawing his support of William remaining at school.
After being here an entire school year, William most assuredly did not want to leave anytime soon. He knew dwelling on possibilities served little practical purpose, however, and so attempted to concentrate on going over his class notes. Confidence in his grasp of the material or not, it provided a nice distraction, and for that he was grateful.
As for the weekend, especially last night's apparent nuptials... well. He was not dwelling on that either. There was no way that could possibly be considered legally binding, even in this day and age, right?

Fighting With Powers [Monday, Fourth Period]
Monday, April 18th, 2011 11:26 amFinals. Finally.
Though, honestly, Max had rather enjoyed this semester. Fandom weirdness aside, he'd had a good group of students, and they'd seemed to learn something? That was pretty cool.
"So you all made it through yet another semester," Max grinned at his students. "Not bad."
"And I'm sure you'll all be excited to know that I spent all weekend coming up with a suitably difficult final for all of you to demonstrate what you've learned this semester." That grin, combined with the fact that the Danger Shop was configured to look like an industrial kitchen today, was not precisely calculated to set anyone's minds at ease about Max's plans.
"This is definitely going to take until the end of the period, so if you've got any last-minute questions or comments then now is definitely the time to speak up with them.
After that was taken care ofassuming anyone had anything to say, Max rolled his shoulders back. "Okay, with that out of the way, I suppose it's time to get started. I hope you're all ready for this. You have until the end of class to..."
"Bake a cake."
"The fridges are stocked and all the appliances work. Clock's ticking, people."

The Science of Sexuality, Monday
Monday, April 18th, 2011 04:41 pmJohn was waiting at the front of the class with a smile and a pile of tests. "Please turn your papers in, then take an exam and sit down," he said. "We'll be testing you on what we've covered this term." ...and Sherlock was responsible for half the test. Fear.
"I would say it has been a pleasure to teach you all, but lies are beneath me," Sherlock added as he worked on something on John's laptop.
"Sherlock will miss you," John translated firmly. "You've been a great--" Mindbogglingly brainbreaky, "class, and I hope that what we've covered will help you later on in life. Good luck on the test."
