Drake was deeply engrossed in a book when the students began to arrive to class. Behind him, a piece of chalk was moving by itself on the blackboard, writing out a pair of quotes: "Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while" and "I know that a life without love is no life at all."

"And they all lived happily ever after," Drake said after a moment, closing his book. "Most of you have probably heard those words; they're commonly used to end fairy tales and movies inspired by them." He snapped his fingers, and an old-style film projector appeared. "For example, meta for Ever After and The Princess Bride." The projector began to play clips from both the movies.

After the clips had finished, Drake addressed the class again. "So, do you think happily ever after can happen in real life, or is it just a fairy tale? Oh, and Fiona, since you missed the first class, you're my second TA. Surprise!"

Ziva opened the study hall early in the morning, setting out some snacks and drinks for the students before sitting down at one of the computers near the front of the room, where she could keep an eye on everyone while she worked. She intended to take some time to study the matters of law she'd need to know for her naturalization test, but that was before the internet lured her to a site about stupid laws in the United States. It was going to be a while before she got back to anything that resembled important information.

Sam was in a slightly better mood than he'd been for the past few days once he was settled in at the library. Yes, it was terribly geeky how being in the library calmed him down, but he needed one place where he could come and clear his thoughts, so he didn't think this trait would be changing any time soon.

"Hey, guys, welcome back," Paige said, as the students entered the room.

Don't mind the chickens. She has no idea where they came from or why they're there. But they seem well behaved, even if some of them are brown, black and gold.

"Anyway, today we're going to define some common magical terms. Not very exciting, I know, but necessary for the rest of our classes to make sense."

She went through a few common terms and then opened the floor for questions. "Any terms you all have heard that you'd like defined? Alternately, do you know any different definitions for some of the words we've gone over?"

The Danger shop was once more doing it's duty in... looking exactly like a normal classroom. One day, someone was going to ask him about this. For today, however, Nick was smiling and leaning against his desk as the class walked in.

"Welcome in," he said cheerfully, "and let's get started."

In the spirit walk we are young forever. Good deal, huh? )

"Now, I'd like to do a discussion for the rest of class. I've assigned Claire and Savannah as my teaching assistants, so if you need anything in this or other classes, catch their eye if you can't catch mine."
