"Good morning!" Edward said. "As you know, your families will be visiting the school this weekend. I'd like you all to demonstrate what you've learned. Create an informational poster with whatever message you would like to pass on to your younger brothers or sisters. If you have no siblings, think of younger friends and what you would like to tell them. You may illustrate your message with images from the magazines I have provided, if you like."

A table at the side of the room has poster boards, magic markers in all colors, scissors, glue sticks and a stack of old magazines. Some titles have more issues than others.

[Syllabus and OOC info, including links to old classes for quick reference. I'll put up a classroom post on Saturday so you can send your family members over to see the posters and meet Edward, if you like. If Edward doesn't agree with the message, the posters will be stuck in a corner somewhere but you can still find them to show family members.

Handwave any magazines you like. If it's not something Edward would approve of, you can find it stuck inside another magazine - he handwavily grabbed old issues that were around the school to supplement the ones he already had.

Wait for OCD! Up!

Also, Edward will have office hours tomorrow since I spaced yesterday if you want to talk to him outside of class.]

Today there was a wide assortment of delicious and moddable fruit and alcohol in the dangershoppe kitchen. How and why Deadpool had managed to grab hold of a durian fruit, was best left unasked.

He also was in possession of a lemming. In a plastic hamster ball.

(Stupid Nate.)

"Gooood morning kiddos. As you may have noticed, there is alcohol around so this means you all need to be on your best behavior and not start drinking right now. And now just because it's before noon and that would be considered either alcoholism or camping. And I don't see and tents nearby so..."

Some time during this lecture on alcoholism, the plastic ball glowed faintly blue in a way that implied telekinesis was being used on it. It was lifted up into the air and onto Deadpool's desk behind him.

"...Don't drink kids and cook kids. It'll only end in horrible accidents that will scar you for life."

Once on the desk, the lemming steadfastly rolled for the edge. Run little lemming, run!

There was a cracking noise as the plastic ball, and lemming, hit the ground and Deadpool's attention turned away from teaching about booze. "Stop trying to do that! I'm not letting you out of the ball, you'll only give into your natural urge to hurl yourself off of things."

A beat.

"AGAIN. Okay class, how about this? If you can make delicious things with fire and alcohol and keep an eye on him so he doesn't escape, you all get an A for the day."

Gavin was back in front of the flight shed today after missing last week due to the break. He nodded as people filed in and waited till everyone was here before starting.

"Welcome back," he said and smiled. "Sorry about last week. Apparently my brain was on break too. But, we're back today. And I think we're good to start testing out the simulator today. I stuck it on the X-Wing program because that's what I know and wasn't sure what everyone else really knew. It's on an easy setting, easy environment. Today's mostly about getting used to the controls, flying carefully and flying straight. It's not that hard, I promise."

He gestured to the flight sim. "Take your time, if you crash, don't worry. It's not real, I promise. That planet's Tatooine so it's full of sand. Nice soft landing."

He grinned and let everyone give the sim a try.

It was a heavy-jacketed and bundled up Mohinder that was pacing about the hillside clearing that the Danger Shop door opened up onto.

He handed out packs to each of the students, saying, "I hope you're all wearing your walking shoes today."

"Navigation," Mohinder said. "As with anything else knowing how to get where we're going is a fundamental starting point. By now we have a number of alternatives. If you'll open your packs you'll find maps, compass and a GPS unit." He picked up his own and tapped the side, hoping the Danger shop programming would give an accurate positioning, before he went on to cover each of the three navigational tools.

"Your starting point's here," said Mohinder. He pointed south-east. "And the first point you have to reach is that way. Good orienteering!"

[OCD is finding its way made it back!]

After opening the library, and ducking off to class, Karal got his daily chores out of the way as quickly as he can so he could work on the latest lot of papers that had arrived from home.

He was deep in thought as he read using Altra's eyes, and both of them had a headache as a result, but he was interruptable should you have need of him.
