Isabel was not particularly happy when she opened the library. It was too quiet without a chatterbox rambling on a mile a minute, or a sweet little boy trying to raid her hair gel.

It was going to be a very long day.

"Easy class today," Ellie said, greeting the class, "since I've heard several of you may have had a traumatizing past few days. Next week is the final, so today will be a study session. The final will be a series of questions to make sure you were paying attention during the guest speakers' lectures. So study your notes, talk amongst yourselves about what you learned, or ask me any questions you might have."

Yuki rose as the class started and cleared his throat. “I apologize for not being around last week. I figure you can work just as easily on your stories in my presence as out of it. Speaking of which, it’s almost the end of the year isn’t it? Well I hope for your own sakes that you’re all finishing up and just editing and tweaking now. Anyone that’s still behind better know that the pressure’s on. Time’s running out.”

“I will accept no late papers. So those of you that commonly procrastinate better cut it out and buckle down. You don’t want to do poorly on something that’s 60% of your grade. If you have any last minute questions, I’m up here. Otherwise I expect you all to be peer-editing these for grammar.”

Applications and Summer Workshops

Greetings mortals!

Applications for students and teachers for Summer Semester term 1 are still open until this Saturday, April 21, 2007. Get your applications in ASAP! If you're new to the madness, come on down! If you're a regular, have even more of your free time sucked up by Fandom High.

Current teachers and townies who are interested in running a workshop for term 1 should sign up here! If you think you can run one post a week for 7 weeks, go give it a try! All teachers, regardless of whether they're sticking around or not, should ping in there anyway to let us know your plans. The deadline for summer workshop proposals is Friday, April 20 (this Friday!).

New people don't need to ping in there, we get your intentions in your application form.

Engineering 101, Class 14 - April 18

Geordi was waiting in front of his desk as the students came into the room. Once they were seated and the noise had quieted down he spoke.

"Good morning," Geordi greeted the class, "since this is our last class before the final today's lesson will be a revision lesson so you'll be able to study for your exam next week. I'd like to take the chance to say thank you for being a terrific class this semester and hopefully I'll be seeing some of you during the summer,"
