"Easy class today," Ellie said, greeting the class, "since I've heard several of you may have had a traumatizing past few days. Next week is the final, so today will be a study session. The final will be a series of questions to make sure you were paying attention during the guest speakers' lectures. So study your notes, talk amongst yourselves about what you learned, or ask me any questions you might have."

Chad was able to pretend at the whole studying thing for a good ten minutes before his head hit his desk with a grunt. He wasn't going to be all upset over the kids having to go back, he wasn't. Really, he wasn't. That's what he kept telling himself, anyway. Not Chad, because he was stoic and manly and didn't emo over things like that.

Taking a deep breath, he returned to his notes. Because repression was healthy, yo.
