As per usual, once the time had come around to start class, Ignis gave his glasses a small push up his nose, adjusted his gloves, the cuffs of his jacket, and got right into it.

"Good moring, everyone," he nodded. "Hope you've all had a good, uneventful week, and that you're ready to get into the kitchen to prepare some food. This week's dish was chosen by Mr. Argentum," Prompto gave them a little grin and wave, and don't worry, he thought it was as ridiculous as he hoped everyone else did to hear himself be called Mr. Argentum, "not only as one of his favorite dishes, but also as one that will afford you the opportunity to perhaps get a little creative with your plating...."

"Because," Prompto interjected with his grin, "while it is is incredibly tasty, even I've got to admit, it's not a whole lot to look at. So that's where you guys come in to make it really interesting or maybe flex on some of those photography techniques to make it eye-catching as it is mouthwatering!"

"So, without further ado," said Ignis, "let's get started on some Peppery Daggerquill Rice."

Cupcake Skirmishes, Period 3, Friday 8/6

Unsurprisingly, Friday morning found Stark in the Home Ec room once more for his cupcake class.

“Welcome back,” he said once everyone had arrived. “There are drinks, if anyone wants.” Because it was summer and it was hot, and because the ingredient of the day was a variety of sodas on the counter in front of him. Because they all needed cupcakes and soda, right? Like a child’s birthday party! “I brought enough for baking and for drinking.”

“I haven’t tried these recipes before, but I’ve eaten cake with cola in it. They’re all similar. Any sort of soda should work, I think. Not just these. But I’ve brought these ones, and recipes for each. You can try what you like.”

This week the traps had been set aside for an all new challenge... teams. There were t-shirts of different colors to help people remember who their assigned partner would be.

"Welcome back!" Tony said brightly. "Today we're switching things up again, as you can see with the t-shirts."

"We're working in groups!" Steve said. "Teamwork is essential."

At least in Steve's line of work. Maybe not everyone else's? "We're going to play capture the flag, but with paintball guns."

So that should end well.

"We've broken you up into teams of two, so it's a bit of a battle royale style capture the flag," Tony said like this wasn't all for their amusement. "The goal is to get both teammates to the flag and to hold it for the duration of the game."

Easy, right?
