Food Photography; Friday, First Period [08/06].
As per usual, once the time had come around to start class, Ignis gave his glasses a small push up his nose, adjusted his gloves, the cuffs of his jacket, and got right into it.
"Good moring, everyone," he nodded. "Hope you've all had a good, uneventful week, and that you're ready to get into the kitchen to prepare some food. This week's dish was chosen by Mr. Argentum," Prompto gave them a little grin and wave, and don't worry, he thought it was as ridiculous as he hoped everyone else did to hear himself be called Mr. Argentum, "not only as one of his favorite dishes, but also as one that will afford you the opportunity to perhaps get a little creative with your plating...."
"Because," Prompto interjected with his grin, "while it is is incredibly tasty, even I've got to admit, it's not a whole lot to look at. So that's where you guys come in to make it really interesting or maybe flex on some of those photography techniques to make it eye-catching as it is mouthwatering!"
"So, without further ado," said Ignis, "let's get started on some Peppery Daggerquill Rice."

He was totally going to kind of judge you if you used the chicken.
"Also, this dish is a rather spicy one, so feel free to adjust the amount of peper and ginger used to suit your heat tolerance, as well."
"I say the more spice, the better!" Prompto chimed in happily. "If you're not using all your peps and ging, believe me, I'll happily take them off your hands!"
"And no doubt," Ignis retorted coolly, "you will spend the rest of the day regretting it. But, no matter, we will regret not having any food at all, so let us get started."
With that, of course, he started in on leading the class through the recipe, hopefully to little or no disaster.

"Now," said Prompto, "there is a lot to be said about minimalism, so maybe all you need is a little sliced veg and a sprig of parsley on top to really catch the humble...rusticness of the dish, but I mostly want to see what you guys come up with and why you think it'll make for a more fetching photo, so let's get plating, let's get shooting, and then?" His grin widened. "Let's get eating!"
This was one of his favorites! He got extra bonuses with it and everything!
