Cupcake Skirmishes, Period 3, Friday 8/6
Unsurprisingly, Friday morning found Stark in the Home Ec room once more for his cupcake class.
“Welcome back,” he said once everyone had arrived. “There are drinks, if anyone wants.” Because it was summer and it was hot, and because the ingredient of the day was a variety of sodas on the counter in front of him. Because they all needed cupcakes and soda, right? Like a child’s birthday party! “I brought enough for baking and for drinking.”
“I haven’t tried these recipes before, but I’ve eaten cake with cola in it. They’re all similar. Any sort of soda should work, I think. Not just these. But I’ve brought these ones, and recipes for each. You can try what you like.”

Chocolate Cola Cupcakes
Strawberry Soda Cupcakes
Orange Crush Cupcakes
Cherry Coke Cupcakes
Dr. Pepper Cupcakes

Root Beer Float Cupcakes

But she also couldn't not make the strawberry soda ones!
Thankfully, homegirl spent more than enough time in a kitchen these days to have full confidence that she could manage both.
And maybe a small batch experimentally deciding to mix the two.

So when Dwight saw the Strawberry Soda Cupcakes he knew those were the ones he was going to have to try his hand at. And hopefully they would turn out.
