Today when Bond's students arrived at the cove, there were boards with sails attached laid out on the sand.

"Now last week you watched a movie on a surfing subculture, and logically you might expect that to be followed by surfing yourselfs, however we are lacking something rather vital to the whole affair." Bond glanced significantly at the almost flat water. "So instead you're going to be trying your hands at windsurfing instead."

He then when on to explain and demonstrate the basics of the sport. "If you think you've got the idea, grab a board and get out on the water. Once you feel confident, there's a simple course laid out with buoys for you to try to navigate."

"Let's talk about DIY," Petra said today. "Now, I can't teach you to sew in an hour, let's not be crazy, but I can encourage you to learn, because, yeah, you can go out and buy a dress for fifteen bucks at Forever 21, but that's not such a great bargain if it falls apart the first time you wash it, and it's super not a great bargain if you throw it away then, and don't get any more wear out of it. I feel like everybody should at least be able to sew on a button and fix a hem--which you don't even need to sew for, by the way, you can totally use hem tape. But that's basic maintenance and repair, it's not style, so, moving on )

The supplies today probably gave away what was planned with a pile of blank magnets, blank picture frames, and paints of all colors. Okay, there was an inordinate amount of shades of pink there. And glitter. Which, really, you all ought to expect at this point.

Also, there was the fact that Pinkie was dressed as a fridge.

At least this would make it harder for her to tackle-hug her coteacher? No. Actually, let's be honest here. She'd hug him no matter what she was wearing. She was just that good of a friend.

"Hiya, everypony!" she greeted, her face popping out of the open freezer door. "Today we're going to make magnets and picture frames!"

Derek was just going to attempt to ignore the costume. He was failing, though. Because really. A pony dressed as a fridge. "You can do both or just one if you want. Try not to get paint on yourselves."

The glitter? Lost cause.

"Hurray!" Pinkie shouted. The fridge door burst open, firing a burst of air-cannoned glitter into the room. It was black and midnight blue, in deference to Derek's preferred outfits.

See? She just cared so much!

Derek just sighed, resigned to his fate. That's right, folks. The talking pink pony broke him down like a puppy.

"Hello, everyone," Josh said, sipping from his cup of coffee and ignoring the screaming chaos around him. "Today you're working in a day care center."

You're soooooo welcome, class!

"Your job today is to make sure none of the rugrats kill themselves, you, or each other, and to assure their parents that each one of these little monsters is you very, very favorite."

Can you tell Josh didn't have kids?

"It's snack time right now, so get out the juice an crackers, folks."

And then he fled, like the coward he was.
