Surf & Turf, Wednesday, Period Four

Today when Bond's students arrived at the cove, there were boards with sails attached laid out on the sand.

"Now last week you watched a movie on a surfing subculture, and logically you might expect that to be followed by surfing yourselfs, however we are lacking something rather vital to the whole affair." Bond glanced significantly at the almost flat water. "So instead you're going to be trying your hands at windsurfing instead."

He then when on to explain and demonstrate the basics of the sport. "If you think you've got the idea, grab a board and get out on the water. Once you feel confident, there's a simple course laid out with buoys for you to try to navigate."

There's a simple zig-zagging course set up if you feel confident enough to try it, or you can just spend the rest of the lesson goofing off.

Cade spent a lot of the class falling off his board and cursing. That was kind of like goofing off, right?
