"Alright, class," Algren's arms were crossed over his chest as the students made their way into the room. There were extra cushions laid out, today. Because... Well, it was hard to miss that giant dinosaur, yesterday, and it had been a long week besides, and they'd just earned themselves some extra cushions. And boxes of Pocky. And bottles of Ramune. Try not to make a mess with the Ramune. "Today we're straying from the syllabus in favor of some very important educational video, straight from Japan, that might come in useful if we ever see a repeat of yesterday."

It could happen. This was Fandom.

"So take it easy, and sit down and watch this movie that has become so deeply entrenched in Japanese culture that people worldwide have come to know it as a household name."

A beat.

"Try not to mock the lipflap too much. I couldn't find a subtitled copy."

The class would find a note on the usual classroom door asking them to meet outside on the basketball court. When they got there, they'd find Tyler in workout clothes and bouncing a basketball. He was cheerfully ignoring any lingering drizzle.

"I figured we all needed some time with fresh air with no monsters around," he said. "So today, this is gym class and we're playing basketball. This group" -- gesture to about half the students -- "is the red team, and the rest of you are blue."

"If you don't know how to play, you want to put the ball through the hoop. The people on the other team don't want to let you. You can't just carry the ball, you have to pass to a teammate or dribble, like this." He demonstrated, and explained a few other rules as he did.

"If you don't like team sports or you're still healing up, sit on the sidelines and find another way to keep busy for the rest of the hour. Or just breathe."

He was into the breathing part, yeah.

"I think you've all had your fair share of horror last week," Mitchell announced, "But I'm fairly sure half your teachers are going to give you movie classes now, so I thought I'd try and get creative."

Fear, class. Fear.

"That's why we've gathered in the Danger Shop today," he continued. "I thought it would be nice for some hands-on practice. See, we've got all of these fears we're working on and working with, but many of them, as I've said, come down to what we fear in ourselves."

A pause.

"These things tend to start in childhood," he said, "And work their way up. So today, we are going to be regressing."

He opened the door behind him and revealed--

"Today, you're going to Eurodisney!" A pause. "I'll be expecting at least two of you to get into a fight," he said, solemnly. "If you do, use something padded."

A beat, in case they thought he'd completely lost it-- "If you need me this week, I'll be spending most of it in Bristol. So use the phone."

And that would appear to be it.

There was a decidedly sulky Ben in the front of the classroom with his left arm in a sling.

Stupid tiny rancors.

"So this weekend was...eventful," he said dryly. "I'm glad the fog is gone. Today is Tahiri's choice for flying options because I can't get into a cockpit for another few days."

Stupid, stupid tiny rancors.

Along with the decidedly sulky Ben was a Tahiri who was decidedly not trying very hard not to look too amused. It wasn't her fault he'd gone and gotten hurt on a week she'd come up with some new programs.

"Your atmospheric option for today is the Sikorsky S-76 helicopter," she said, reading a quick overview of the controls off her datapad since it wasn't one she was familiar with either, and unlike some people here who could fly just about anything ever but weren't in any condition to fly today, she needed to get acquainted with the craft first. "They get used as air ambulances a lot in most versions of contemporary Earth, so that's what you'll be doing today. You can choose from either an urban or rural setting. The urban one's got lots of skyscrapers to maneuver around, but the rural one's got high winds to contend with." She grinned.

"As for your spaceflight choice, we've got an A-Wing interceptor for you. Personally, I don't think they're as great as most A-Wing pilots like to brag they are --" because the rivalry between X-Wing and A-Wing pilots was epic -- "but they are fast. See if you can manage last week's trench run scenario in something that requires a lot more precise reaction time from you as a pilot."

See, it wasn't her fault she'd already programmed the sim for a craft that required you to have really, really good reflexes to fly it well before Ben got hurt.

Summer was glad that everything seemed back to normal, or as normal as things could get in Fandom. She set up a spread of snacks and beverages, knowing everyone could use some sugary goodness given what had happened over the week and weekend.

Summer made herself a cup of tea and settled behind a desk to read. She was planning on doing that for the entirety of study hall. Summer would welcome an interruption if someone needed her help.

The class had received an email telling them to meet at the Danger Shop and to bring a set of bathers. Inside was an idyllic beach, probably somewhere in the Bahamas, judging from the clear blue waves and the white sand.

A number of nets with courts marked with witches' hats were set up on the beach, along with a number of balls. "Given the weekend, we'll be having another easy class this week," Bond said, tossing a ball to the nearest student. "Pair up for some pick-up games of beach volleyball, or if you'd prefer to stay away from team sports, you can practice your swimming."

"You've had a week with your droid babies," Anakin said. "I trust that you've all learned valuable lessons about restraint in the face of lust, or at least the value of good birth control." He gave Bruce a long look. "As well as why babies' heads should stay fully attached." His attention shifted to Illyria. "And how we don't eat them on this planet. Now we'll move on to the last of the seven major sins: sloth. Originally, sloth was described as 'an uneasiness of the mind'," he continued. "Apathy. Melancholy. Joylessness. And importantly, the decision not to do anything about it."

He shrugged. "The modern view understands that the mind is slightly more complicated than that and sometimes it is impossible to will yourself not to be sad. Instead, this sin focuses on the failure to utilize your talents and gifts."

He made eye contact with each student. "In a place filled with as many talented people as this one, I can view it as almost criminal to not live up to the potential each of you has. Today, pair up and talk about what your plans for the future are, and how what you will be doing either over the summer or after graduation will be helping you in what you might think of as your greater destiny."

He rolled his eyes. "You may also use this time to complain about what a horrible person I was to saddle you with fake children for a period of weeks, if you insist upon it."
