George wasn't much for reading today.  He was too fidgety, and while he'd pulled out a few books that he'd been wishing t'check out, he wasn't often t'be found at the desk.

Instead he was wandering through the library - checking the coffee pot, straightening a few books, checking to make sure none of the other books had decided to fly away, stop to flip a pencil a few times or possibly throwing th' dice across the carpet or over one of the tables.

Fidgeting, yes.  And taking a long, long time to work through the normal library duties.  It was, apparently, a thing.

Loki was looking pretty fucking relaxed, all sprawled out and lounging at the desk while the students filed in. The class today was easy so he had no reason to look anything but. Once everyone arrived and took their seats, Loki started talking.

the talking goes under here! )

Emmett had kept the decor to a tasteful minimum today: the desks had been pushed back to the walls of the classroom and the empty space in the center was filled with colorful (okay, some were glittery) throw pillows for lounging and watching the projection-tv up near the front.

"In the tradition of goof-offs everywhere," he began, "And because some of us apparently had kind of a stressful weekend, we present to you... Movie Day!"

Gabrielle, who was responsible for the presence of large bags of kettle corn, had her best trying-to-pull-a-fast-one-on-you smile on. "It's really a time-honored tradition." Right, because people needed to have a movie day justified to them, ever. "I haven't actually seen this one, but --"

She held up the DVD case, displaying the title Just Look At My Pom-Poms! "I've been told it's pretty good."

Emmett eyed the brightly-colored case. "I've been told you can hide your eyes during the lesbian sex scenes and still appreciate the plot."

Gabrielle eyed Emmett and, in complete seriousness, asked, "Why would you want to hide your eyes . . . never mind. Just go put this in, will you?"

"That's what he said!"

It was Thursday, that meant it was class day. Isn't everyone just so excited? C'mon! Show your teenage angst filled excitement!

No? Fine.

Screw y'all.

"The weekend that we never speak of is over and done with and it's back to business as usual, kiddos. But not without subjected you to horrible trauma by making you all relive those painful memories for a photoshoot," Deadpool said brightly. "Now, there's a box of... okay, they might be t-shirts I got at the dollar store instead of fabulous costumes. I'm cheap. Deal. So play about in Imagination Land where you can sparkle like a vampire and shit."

So loving, Deadpool.

"Now get to work."

There had been a *handwavy* notice for all the students to meet at the shooting range for class today. When the class arrived all the safety gear was laid out for them and several examples of fire arms were laid out on the table.

He also made sure the rules were posted and read off every one to the students. It was clear he was not going to tolerate any foolishness today.

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

"You violate any of those rules?" Gibbs said giving all the students a hairy eyeball, "Or even point a gun at something other than the target, so help me I'll smack you in the head and throw you in detention so fast it'll make your head spin."

That being said... )

Another week over and done with and Ronon found himself back in study hall. Aaaaand having a problem thinking with clarity.

Study hall was clean.
Every item in its place.
Ronon was confused.

It was going to be a long day.
