"Well," Deadpool said, pacing about the danger shop. "I was gonna have a real class for ya'll with the seriousness and talking about danger and blah blah blah. But you know what? It's Halloween Week. Halloween, people. I want funsies with candy."

Yeah, this can only end well.

"So, today you'll all be learning the very important skill of fighting a non-human opponent. I was gonna do aliens and dinosaurs and cool shit like that, but instead you all get beloved mascots of delicious treats. If you win, you can feast on their delicious nougaty centers of their souls. If you lose... well, let's just say the black market for kidneys is good business."

"Good morning," Ziva said, looking rather excited as everyone came into the Danger Shop. "I promised all of you that you would be able to learn how to use some vehicles that are not cars, and that is what we are going to do today. You are going to get to drive three different vehicles today, one on each section of the track." The track looked smooth and obstacle-free from here which should have been the first sign of danger. "Each vehicle handles very differently, but I believe you are all ready for a challenge. Go on and get started."

Sam still wasn't a big fan of Halloween, but the library looked so festive that he found himself getting into a good mood anyway as he got ready for the day. The only change he made was moving the candy dish a little farther away from himself than it was when he first sat down. He didn't need a sugar rush today, really.

There were a couple pieces of candy resting on each of the students' desks. Summer was in the Halloween spirit, seeing as it was only a few days away. She couldn't believe how time had flown by.

"I hope you all had fun at Homecoming," Summer smiled warmly. "Today, we're going to talk about the relationship between the sun and the ocean. It's more intricate than you might think," she chuckled. Summer passed out handouts to the students, which had an overview

"I hope you guys have a good Halloween, if you're planning on doing anything," Summer grinned. There was some extra candy in a bowl next to her. "Feel free to take some more candy as you leave." She had more than enough to spare.

"If you're from this planet, you probably have an idea what Stonehenge is. If you're not, then it's this," Jim said, pointing at a picture taped to the board. "It's a bunch of stones put in very precise circles back in prehistoric times, so we don't really have a good idea how they moved the stones at all, let alone putting them together the way they did."

"Anyway, it's one of those big world mysteries that a lot of people speculate about and so it's a popular tourist thing. But England hasn't always owned it. Up until 1918, Stonehenge was privately owned. King Henry the Eighth gave it to somebody, who gave it to somebody else, and they gave it to somebody else, and so on until it ended up being auctioned off in 1915. And that's when a man named Sir Cecil Chubb bought it at auction as a present for his wife."

"The fact that he donated it to the government three years later probably tells you everything you need to know about how well that present went over."

"And this brings up three obvious questions: Why would somebody buy a five thousand year old circle of stones for his wife? What's the weirdest thing you've ever bought for a significant other that you can talk about in polite company? And what landmark would you give someone if you could?"

Barney was back, all could rejoice at his tan suit and burgundy striped tie. Waiting for his class to trickle in, Barney was working over a mid-morning Bloody Mary and wishing the cafeteria offered brunch.

"Judging from your quiz last week, the majority of you are hopeless losers. No wonder you need a class to tell you how to win friends. Today we'll define this 'friendship' thing as it pertains to men." With the click of a button, Barney dimmed the lights and started up a fantastical PowerPoint slide show that announced its title as FRIENDSHIP. Each slide showed a different quote, which Barney would read aloud, trying not to give away how he felt about them.

Once they were assembled around the big table, Barney smiled and started a slow clap. "Well done, seniors. That was one legendary Homecoming. Have some free pizza, pat yourselves on the back, and start working on the next thing!"

No, Barney didn't know what the next thing was, but he was sure these little do-gooders would figure something out. Besides, there was free pizza. That always worked on the hormonally challenged.

Oh, look, pumpkins! And sharp implements! This could only mean one thing. "If you're not from around here and no one's explained Halloween to you, I'll be happy to do so," Steve said, "but on its most basic level it's an excuse to dress up and eat ridiculous amounts of candy. Since the holiday is tomorrow, today we'll be carving Jack-o'-lanterns." Steve paused to hand out a information sheet on Jack-o'-lanterns. "Everybody has a pumpkin, and I've got a couple of extras in case something goes completely sideways, and there are several patterns to choose from. Please be careful, and feel free to take your Jack-o'-lantern with you at the end of class."
