"Good morning, class," Jim said once everyone was in their seats. "Today we'll be discussing no-win scenarios."

Shut up, Bones.

"I want you all to split off into pairs and come up with a situation where there is no way to win other than to not go into it at all. That shouldn't be too difficult, right? When you've gotten that done, I want you to write it down and bring it to class with you next week for the final exam."

He grinned.

"And yes, there is a final exam. Good luck," He said, plopping down in a swivel chair.

He missed his so damn much.

Today the tables and fabric and, well, walls, were gone from the Danger Room. In their place was a rack of completed costumes (with the good fabric, yes) and an enormous terrifying obstacle course.

"Today we do a bit of field testing!" Edna proclaimed, not bothering to keep the glee from her voice. "We will see how ingenious and bulletproof your costume designs are, and how practical your heels are when running over large distances! Getting blisters halfway through chasing a criminal is just embarrassing, darlings."

She gestured at the changing rooms, then the start of the course. "Powers are encouraged, naturally. You can hardly show how well your costumes will handle real-world conditions if you aren't going all out."

She rubbed her hands together and laughed. "The obstacle course certainly will be!"

The Danger Shop was set up at the racetrack again today, and was back to nice, sunny weather. In fact, at first, the most noticeable difference in the class setting would probably be the assembly of cars.

"Many people claim that the difference between good drivers and bad drivers is that good drivers do not get into dangerous driving situations, and bad drivers do," Ziva said. "I do not believe that this is the case. Even the best drivers can suddenly find themselves in a bad situation, because of other people driving poorly, or because of circumstances that are out of their control. The real difference between good drivers and bad drivers is that good drivers know how to react when they are about to have an accident, and can either minimize the potential damage, or prevent the accident from occurring altogether."

For the record, she was very good at that first option. The second one, not so much. "It is difficult to react properly to a dangerous situation the first time you are having the experience. I could stand here and tell you how to turn the steering wheel if you lose control of your car until I am blue in the head, but the first time it happens to you, you will not remember a word that I have said. In order to help you become good drivers, you are all going to take part in some dangerous driving experiences for what I hope is the first time today, so that if they happen to you while you are driving on actual roads, you can be able to avoid panicking, and make the right choices to stay safe."

"I'm going to keep the lecture short today because our lesson is practical."

He gestured to the doors that were arrayed behind him.

"Each one of you will be entering a simulated psimoon. Psimoons, as the name might suggest, are planetoids which react to the mind of one person, adapting their terrain to mimic the person's mental state. Your mission, and you're going to accept it if I have to shove you through the door, the lot of you, is to explore your own psimoon and return 'alive' by the end of class.

"If you like it, you can even bring some of your friends to enjoy your psimoon. Once it's locked on an individual, it stays locked."

He beamed brilliantly.

"Good luck."

[ocd up!]

Claudia today had gone all out for her ensemble--gold lamé shorts, pink shirt, red beret, adorable sandals, earrings made out of radishes--and was just a little late arriving at the library because of it.

But fashion was more important than promptness, right?

The library was open!

Tim was a girl. That's all that will be said about this. Yeah right.

"Second to last class. Tomorrow we've got that trip to Busch Gardens. You can invite a friend if you want. Today we're watching a movie." He...she stood awkwardly for a minute, then went to sit behind the desk and started the movie.

[Up early for SP.]

Fred Dukes was definitely not feeling man enough for the job today.

He was, however, stubborn enough to be woman enough for the job.

"Yeah, yeah," he barked. She barked. He who was now a she barked. "Anyone makes any jokes about the boobs anything else about my current condition gets detention. And a dodgeball to the head."

"Today, I got something special."

He pointed at the multiple inflatable pools spread across the gym floor. Each was filled with a different color of Jell-o.

"Wrestling. In Jell-o." She smiled. "No holds barred. No rules other than no killin' anyone. Have fun."

Fred had also opened the doors in case anyone wanted to drop by the class and watch.

[ooc: OCD first, please! Open! Have fun!]
