"Good morning, class," Jim said once everyone was in their seats. "Today we'll be discussing no-win scenarios."

Shut up, Bones.

"I want you all to split off into pairs and come up with a situation where there is no way to win other than to not go into it at all. That shouldn't be too difficult, right? When you've gotten that done, I want you to write it down and bring it to class with you next week for the final exam."

He grinned.

"And yes, there is a final exam. Good luck," He said, plopping down in a swivel chair.

He missed his so damn much.

Anemone privately felt that the teacher was very much on crack this week. There was no such thing as a no-win scenario, at least not in her mind.

Still, she sat politely as she waited for a partner to work with.

Bones wasn't really the teamwork kind of guy unless he was being dragged into it so needless to say he was a bit reluctant about doing this. But he didn't want Jim to call him out in front of the whole class so...

Tahiri hadn't left a message for Captain Kirk before she'd left last week (just last week? Gah. She was still getting used to that.), so apologies were definitely in order.

She walked up to the . . . er . . . swiveling teacher after class. "Captain?"
