Yuki seemed to be in an almost pleasant mood today. He stands to begin his lecture, “Good afternoon. I hope none of you suffered a large amount of psychological trauma this past weekend, and if you have, think of it as good writing material.”

“Today we’re going to look in depth into the most important base for a story. Good characters. They’re more important than the setting, or plot. Once you have solid characters, the rest will work itself out. Today is the first day you’re going to work on your final piece. I want you to create two firm characters and submit them to me by the end of class with a short description of each.”

“This doesn’t have to be final, but I want you to begin creating the characters that are going to drive your story. I also what you to doodle the two characters that you’re submitting, just because.” Just because he wants to laugh at your art skills. To himself later on, of course. “Oh and Hoodie-Brain, you don’t need to draw the character along the lines.”

((OOC: Sorry for putting this up a bit late, I’ve got a busy day today since I’m going to see Wicked with my family, I’ll be on tonight however to pick up any and all tags))

Isabel got to the library on time, mocha in hand, and set about getting it ready for the day.

"Well, Ardala was certainly interesting," Ellie said as class began. "But we've managed to get her off the island, and there have been no signs of space pirate violence. Today our guest will be someone who may be familiar to you and certainly more friendly. I've invited Ms. Kaylee Frye to tell us about life in the -- I believe it's the 25th century?"

[ooc: my availability will be slim today due to houseguest, but I will pop in to pick up pings from time to time.]

Emma was bored (and tired of competing with Ares' handmaidens in terms of clothlessness) so she wandered up to the school and rediscovered her office. It really needed redecorating. And a bar.

She leaned back in her chair and rested her legs on her desk. Someone had left a Desmesnes book lying around in the lobby and Emma was bored enough to start reading. Soon she was completely absorbed by the elegant blonde's fight for her man. She really disliked the red-haired feisty heroine though.

ooc: OMG so open.

"Pie day's over. I hope you all had cream-filled fun, and anyone who took that in a dirty way...well, good for using your imagination. Some former pie objects are back. Others aren't. So if you got your stuff back, great. If you didn't? TOO BAD!

Anyway, Fandom loves you kids and your toys. How do I know this? Because the toys are coming alive."

Quack. Quack quack quack!

"That? Is Herman, the rubber ducky. I walk in this morning and suddenly he's flapping around on the desk. Just a warning. Toys can be dangerous. Don't let them kill you in your sleep."

[OOC: Pie changing is over. Some stuff changed back, some didn't. Up to you. Various toys around the island are starting to come to life. The toys are still toys. They just have minds of their own now and can go as far as walking and talking if you'd like. They'll stay this way until Friday evening. Have fun!]

If Sakura had heard or seen anything of her students' misadventures over the past weekend, she didn't show it. For all they knew she could still be laughing at them on the inside -- not that she was. She'd had to deal with three of her teammates being turned into animals, so this was nothing particularly new to her. (Really, once you'd lived through the trainwreck of amusement that was Akashi flopping around on the ground after he'd reverted from being a goldfish, everything else was a piece of cake.)

This morning, she stood in front of the class at the yellow table, upon which several black and gold locked chests stood. "Good morning, everyone. Today we're going to be examining a few of the tools and objects that are a part of a treasure hunter's everyday job, to give you an idea of how we identify and take possession of artifacts. )

[OOC: Class Roster and Info Post. OMG I was wordy this week, and hyperlink-happy. OCD is up!]

Geordi smiled as the students filed in to his classroom, he was seated at his desk but once his students had sat down he moved around to the front of his desk and sat on the edge of it. “Good morning,” he greeted the class cheerfully once the noise had quieted down.

[wait for the OCD is up!]
