Phoebe is sitting at Camulus' desk with a lot of paperwork spread out in front of her. There is a phone dropped on top of the mess. She looks incredibly tired.

"As Professor Camulus is still missing, I'm your teacher again today." Phoebe lifts her head to look at the class. "We've been exploring the King's Cycle and discussing the tales therein. On March 15th, you will have a project due. You are to create a short play or children's storybook on any of the tales studied thus far. If you write a play, it doesn't have to be performed, but it should include stage directions. If you want extra credit on the assignment, include a fantasy cast list with your play. Also, might I suggest that you donot stick to reasonable ratingswrite Celtic pr0n. This is especially important if you decide to fashion the Wooing of Etain into a play. Please, people, use common sense as I do not want to get kicked out of school for directingencouraging you to write such adult stuff."

She sighs and looks back down at her notes.

"Also, your mid-term is on Wednesday, March 1. We'll be having a review session on Monday."

There's a note on the door of the music room today.

"Class is cancelled.

Do some research on Ancient Greek music and come to class tomorrow.

Ted 'Theodore' Logan."

The announcements come quite early in the day, between the first and second periods.

"Just a quick note, kids. Blair Sandburg, you're the poor guy who gets to serve detention tommorow even though you haven't done anything wrong. Sorry, dude. Sucks, you know?"

Ms. Sidle is extremely happy this afternoon. And there is something shiny and sparkly on her left ring finger.

"There's a reason why people typically say thank god it's Friday. I want a short paragraph on what this unit has meant, in your own words. After that, you can go."
[identity profile] prof-methos.livejournal.com
Methos is trying to come up with clever ideas for a class project for Western Civ. So far... he's got nothing.

In a wastecan beside his desk is the photocopied journal he's been working on on-and-off for the last few months. Also the notebook he's been translating it into. Also about fifteen copies of a letter to the Watchers about why he wasn't going to complete the translation for them.

He's very interruptable.

[[OOC: OCD threads coming up are now up. Only Janet gets to touch the journal, sorry. This post brought to you by the pretty that is John Barrowman in black leather and the number 8.]]

Janet yawned as she flipped on the library lights. She hadn't gotten much sleep last night.

Jenny had her laptop open and was working on the February quiz. Only a week to go 'til she had to hand it out to her students.
[identity profile] drgrissom.livejournal.com
Grissom comes in to his office a little later than usual, but he doesn't seem to be overly concerned with his tardiness.

His door is open, because the puppy is contained to her own little play area, and also he's in the best. mood. ever. So he's grinning, slightly but still, and 'rocking out' to King Crimson by occasionally tapping his fingers on his desk while he works on the upcoming Sociology midterms.

And no, he can't explain why you stick to the ceiling or smell like Nyquil, but he'll certainly come up with some theories for you.

"Simple, easy activity today. I would like you to talk about an experience where someone asked you to do something that went against your personal convictions. What did you do? How did you react? Did you go along with it, or did you protest and come up with an alterantive? And what was so wrong about what they asked of you?" Rita asked without preamble. "Also, next week we will be starting on our midterm projects, so be prepared for that."

"Good afternoon, students. My name is Mr Feeny. You may call me Mr Feeny. I'm substituting for Professor Lyman today for reasons that don't concern any of you.

Fortunately for those of you who don't value your education, I was unable to procure a lesson plan for today, so you will be subjected to a class of discussion. And no, I don't mean about the latest music video or hip new toy. Today you will review what you have learned from Professor Lyman so far and state what you believe to be the most significant historical event so far. Also please qualify it with an appropriate reason as to why it is so."
[identity profile] imanaturalblond.livejournal.com
"Good afternoon, boys and girls. Today we're going to start work on our midterm projects, which will be due one week from today."

"I'd like you reflect a bit on the friends of your classmates, because our project is going to be to attempt an interview that friend. So for the rest of the period, talk amongst yourselves about these people, and whether you think that they'd be open to being interviewed, what to look out for during the interview, et cetera. Is your subject very shy? A private person, perhaps? How can you make them more comfortable? And so on. And don't be afraid to ask me questions if you have them. And Peter, you can handwave for obvious reasons."

Rita smiled encouragingly and made little shooing motions. "Go on. Work."

"Good afternoon," Zoe said, greeting the Student Council members. "As some of you have heard, Mr. Lyman has been called back to the White House for an international emergency. Until he returns, I'll be handling these little meetings." She sat back in her chair with a bit of a smirk. "So, shall we get started?"
