Welcome to Fandom High, kids. We offer the best curriculum in any dimension, not to mention the best security around.

Please comment here to enroll at Fandom High. We will only accept one version of each student, so please keep that in mind when signing up. We will also not accept anyone calling anyone else "fictional" or referring to the books they read about them or the TV show or movie they watched about them. These are all vicious lies and will be dealt with accordingly by a trip to detention.

I can assure you, you do NOT want to go to detention. Things explode in there. And get eaten by squirrels.

Also, if you'd like to teach at Fandom High, please comment below with your chosen teaching subject. All teachers will be added as community mods.

EDIT: Enrollment for [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh is officially closed until further notice. Enrollment should reopen in about one month's time. Thank you for your patience.

I've been told that the youth of today have impressionable minds. This is truly a marvelous thing as I intend to make one hell of an impression. If you're lucky, you'll take something away from this course other than mental scars.

But don't count on it.

Now that we know each other, so to speak, feel free to leave any comments or questions below. Assignments are going to be handled as in the real world - unexpectedly and to a deadline.

Complaints of unfairness will get you an automatic F and this is in no way open to interpretation.

With a little luck, you might even learn something.

Students and teachers, welcome to the new schoool year. Classes will officially start on Wednesday, and as you can see, teachers are already providing students with the information for their particular fields of study.

Please feel free to read the information in this post to be prepared for the new school year. And you'll definitely need a little fucking preparation, what with how weird this place can get.

As regards grading and expectations for the Journalism courses, and this covers Journalism 101, 201, 301, 401, Advanced Journalism and Combat Journalism, please note the following.

I understand that we have students from all over, but I'm teaching journalism and the fine art of communication.

The language here is English. You may speak however you please, but the first actual assignment that hits my desk written in any form of accent or without proper grammar gets you an F and possibly public suspension from the school flagpole or a free pass to thoroughly explore locker 327.

Survivors will be required to submit a full and factual report on their experience.

I'm not here to supervise your spoken word but your ability to communicate clearly and effectively through a written medium - in this case, English.
