For the record

As regards grading and expectations for the Journalism courses, and this covers Journalism 101, 201, 301, 401, Advanced Journalism and Combat Journalism, please note the following.

I understand that we have students from all over, but I'm teaching journalism and the fine art of communication.

The language here is English. You may speak however you please, but the first actual assignment that hits my desk written in any form of accent or without proper grammar gets you an F and possibly public suspension from the school flagpole or a free pass to thoroughly explore locker 327.

Survivors will be required to submit a full and factual report on their experience.

I'm not here to supervise your spoken word but your ability to communicate clearly and effectively through a written medium - in this case, English.
