Generally, I will not give extra-credit unless it is necessary due to extenuating circumstances.

If you are absent from an exam, have a documented, valid excuse. Otherwise, you will not be permitted to make it up.

In order to graduate, you will need to fulfill certain requirements in the physical sciences and the biological sciences.

You will need Biology. However, Physics and Geology are both physical sciences and you can take one or the other. Or you can elect to wait until the spring semester and take Chemistry.

Also, I wanted to know if we'd be using computer modeling for any of our assignments? Because I'm really good with computers, and I know this one program that's totally open source, so it won't cost the school extra and I can help everyone get set up...

Yes, I do. I work for the Las Vegas crime lab as a level III investigator. And I would be glad to trade notes with you sometime.

As of right now, I'm not planning on it. However, several students have indicated interest. I may consider doing a weekend seminar.

Geology - Useless.

Biology - Marginally useful.

Physics - Only real useful course. Can't fly without knowing your physics. Don't want to get into a bad accident with gravity.
