Generally, I will not give extra-credit unless it is necessary due to extenuating circumstances.

If you are absent from an exam, have a documented, valid excuse. Otherwise, you will not be permitted to make it up.

In order to graduate, you will need to fulfill certain requirements in the physical sciences and the biological sciences.

You will need Biology. However, Physics and Geology are both physical sciences and you can take one or the other. Or you can elect to wait until the spring semester and take Chemistry.

Hi! My name is Willow Rosenberg, and I just moved here from Sunnydale. I really like science, so I was really happy when I found out you'd be teaching us! Well, um, just wanted to say hello!

Also, I wanted to know if we'd be using computer modeling for any of our assignments? Because I'm really good with computers, and I know this one program that's totally open source, so it won't cost the school extra and I can help everyone get set up...

Will genetics be a part of the biology course? My earlier education has led me to take an interest in some of its applications.

We will study genetics to a certain extent, but I do not have the personal expertise to do an in-depth class.
