"After last week's foray into deep, dark spaces," Shunsui started with a grin as the class gathered as usual in their cluster in front of the portalocity office, "I figured we'd enjoy a nice bit of...very open air this week ♥. We'll be napping in the trees this week....well....♥," his face broke out into a lopsided grin, "not exactly in the trees, if you want to be technical, but rather from them ♥. We're on our way to Waldseilgarten Höllschlucht, which has a great many activities and features for the intrepid adventurer and explored, but we, of course, will be concerning ourselves with but one of their offerings: their dangling beds, suspended from the tree branches ♥

"Let's not waste a moment longer ♥," he then said, gesturing for the class to follow him to their next great napping adventure. "Actually getting into the bed might take some doing, so we haven't got a moment to spare ♥."

The paintball guns had been swapped out today for squirt guns in deference to the heat. And because it was fun and less likely to bruise.

So, there was that.

"The weather is getting a little hotter," Tony said, wearing sunglasses and clutching an iced coffee. Was he also wearing Captain America themed shorts and a t-shirt? Yes. Yes, he was. "And we thought switching things up again would be fun."

Steve was wearing a Thor t-shirt because he was a secret troll. "There are buckets of water placed in strategic areas around the course as well," he added with an impish smile.

"And a few with water balloons in them as.well if you're lucky enough to find them," Tony added. "It's less about winning today---but I sort of doubt that will discourage many of you."

Steve laughed. "No powers, please. Keep this good, clean fun."

Well, for a group of hypercompetitive cheaters.

Catching up on Pop Culture, 3rd period

Today there were computers all around. Jon waved at the students. "You've probably noticed a lot of what we're doing is on computers. That's because a lot of recent popular culture either happens on computers or is influenced by what happens there, on social media and so forth. But another aspect is that a lot of people use them for playing games.

"Some of these may be tiny things like Wordle and the like or Solitaire, others may be more involved, like Fortnite. Some have incredibly intricate stories, but we're not going into those here; just be aware of them."

He gestured at the computers. "So, today there are a number of games you can play. Enjoy and ask questions if you have them."
