Paintball!, Monday, June 13th, 2022

The paintball guns had been swapped out today for squirt guns in deference to the heat. And because it was fun and less likely to bruise.

So, there was that.

"The weather is getting a little hotter," Tony said, wearing sunglasses and clutching an iced coffee. Was he also wearing Captain America themed shorts and a t-shirt? Yes. Yes, he was. "And we thought switching things up again would be fun."

Steve was wearing a Thor t-shirt because he was a secret troll. "There are buckets of water placed in strategic areas around the course as well," he added with an impish smile.

"And a few with water balloons in them as.well if you're lucky enough to find them," Tony added. "It's less about winning today---but I sort of doubt that will discourage many of you."

Steve laughed. "No powers, please. Keep this good, clean fun."

Well, for a group of hypercompetitive cheaters.

Rosa, honestly, was a little bit....torn. Because, on the one hand, she wanted to win, obviously, but on a day like this, spraying her enemies with water seemed to be doing them a favor.

So don't mind her taking a few moments to make sure her gun say in the sun long enough to make the water good and lukewarm before she started turning her attention to kicking some major ass.

Were there sights on a water pistol? ...could McGarrett add one? Either way, he was taking off at a run for high ground, per usual.

Anakin's squirt gun was jammed. He'd stopped dead to try to fix it.

This was probably a huge mistake.

Lana held out long enough to make sure she wasn't dead last, but honestly once one of the instructors went down, she figured she'd just as soon get shot and hang out cooling off.

Funny how surviving a zombie apocalypses for reals kinda downplays the urgency of surviving a water gun fight. So Billy was not overly disappointed when the water from the other's guns seemed to find him with ease. Maybe he could just stand there and let people get him? After all no point in surviving if you died of heat stroke in the process right?

It was harder to aim a squirt gun and they didn't have nearly the range of the paintball guns.

Surely this wouldn't be a problem for Stark! (It was definitely going to be a problem).
