Today's background music: a playlist of tavern music just conveniently meta-ed, la la la. All the crafting materials were laid out for everyone's use again today, but so was a cooler of water and juice with a sign attached to it that read TAKE. DRINK. DEHYDRATION IS NOT AN OPTION.

Related to that last point, and perhaps somewhat unsettlingly, Steph was sitting on the edge of her table up front as usual, but she was in fact not wearing a beanie today, because it was too freaking hot for that so she was basically in outfit #2 here sans beanie.

"So," she said dramatically, clapping her hands together, once everyone was assembled. "In three weeks the monarch of this fair kingdom will be holding a festival and all of you are going to be in attendance. Why are you going? That's entirely up to you. Maybe you're looking for a chance to show off your skills for potential employers? Sneaking away from home to take in the sights of the city? Perhaps you're on some grand quest and merely stopping in to get supplies, or your armor repaired. Or could it be that you're a student accompanying your mentor, or a servant in a noble's retinue?"

She hopped down off the table and gestured to one person at random before making a sweeping motion to indicate everyone.

"And for that matter, how are you going to get there? On foot? Horseback? Carriage? Maybe you're part of some enterprising captain's crew? Stowing away in a traveling merchant's wagon? Who knows? Maybe you were carried there by the wind. It could happen."

Steph flashed them all a grin.

"So that's your assignment today, to figure that out. And ideally, some of you all will have met up at some point on the journey and will be arriving at the festival together. So talk to each other, and see what you all can come up with, okay? And as always, check in with me if you're still stuck and need help with anything."

Underwater Basket Weaving and Other Aquatic Arts!; Tuesday, Fourth Period [05/31].

The heat of the day certainly made it an excellent one to get back into the water that week, and it went without saying that Sidon was thrilled by this fact.

Sidon was pretty much thrilled by default, of course, but that was beside the point.

"Hello, everyone!" he bellowed excitedly when everyone arrived at the beach again for another exciting installment of what was surely their favorite class! "I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend! I know I have! And it's about to get even better because we're about to embark on some more amazing aquatic arts! More specifically, the most important art of all: the art of having fun! Today, we shall be engaging in a few aquatic games, which will be an enjoyable way to bolster our swimming abilities! I'll explain the games a little more as we get started, but first? Let's stretch!"

Stretching was very important! And he felt it gave everyone the chance to really get pumped for class!

"And then everybody into the water!"

Flight and Flying- Tuesday- 2nd period

Back to the Danger Shop today, where at least one person should recognize the familiar ship in front of them.

"This is a starship from my galaxy. In fact, it's basically family," Jaina said. "This is the Millennium Falcon, a YT-1300 light freighter. This used to be a smuggling ship, and is heavily modified with things like weaponry. It's very old, half falling apart, and it'll still outlive me. So today I'll let you wander around and see it, and then I've got a simulation if you want to take turns flying and copiloting it."

Goose was a bit more distracted than normal when he got have to his class that morning, he kept looking at his communicator, hoping that he would hear from Ignis or Prompto, some kind of indication that there was still a line of communication open.

He had decided to revisit a topic that he covered in class last semester, since he had spent the last few days trying to get in contact with Ignis and not been able to do so.

“Good morning,” he began, finally stopping looking at his communicator for a few minutes so that he could begin the lesson, “this week we’re going to look at strength of materials,” and he began to offer a brief overview on where it related to mechanical engineering.

“For this week’s practical, we’re going to rubber band helicopters and see how far we’re able to propel them and how well the material will hold,”

Did anyone want to be awake for this after the kraken drill?

Was that going to stop Anakin? Of course not!

The bleachers were down on the beach today, along with eight large rafts floating semi-precariously out in the water. Was this tempting a real kraken to arrive?

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe.

"Today it's really, ridiculously hot," Anakin yelled through the megaphone. "So I'm letting you get wet! You're welcome!"

Wait to hear what you're doing first before expressing your gratitude.

"You will be conducting a water balloon fight out there on the water. You will be given hand-held balloon launchers, and a bucket full of water balloons." Which may or may not contain water. "You will have teams of eight. Fastest team to pass a water balloon all the way down the line wins. You get a time penalty at the end for each balloon that breaks along the way. Listen for your names!''
