He took several nerve-calming (...ish) gulps from his coffee before continuing. "Right. So my bracket is completely hooped, I saw a pteradon yesterday from my window, and I couldn't think about how the President of the United States would handle this other than calling in the National Guard and vowing to never, ever, EVER do drugs again. So I'm heading for the library. You're welcome to join me, or you can go to the shooting range if that's more your thing."

He knew Fandom students' preferred methods of stress release.

Thor had considered cancelling class today, but upon further reflection, had decided the current situation made for an excellent practical exercise.

Hence why the table at the front was covered in weapons of various types.

"I will not keep you in the classroom long," he promised. "As the situation outside grows more dire, I feel our time is best suited assisting in any way we can. Whether that is by picking up a weapon and going outside to do battle, or heading to the library to look for any information on the origins of this madness. And so that is what I shall ask of you today. All I require is that if you are choosing to take up a weapon, please indicate the type of weapon and your name on this sign-up sheet, as they all must be returned safely to the weapons locker at the end of the day. You are, of course, free to check it out again another day should you require it." Like a library! But for sharp things! "Although if I hear of any abuses of my trust, I shall revoke the privilege," he added seriously. Not that he could do much if you happened to have your own weapon.

There was no class today. Herc had considered it, but between the situation on the island and the fact that he had no idea how much of his class would even be who he expected them to be any more, he'd instead opted for an e-mail informing everyone that, Class cancelled. Stay safe. Barring staying safe, be smart, and hoped it would reach everyone it needed to.

Chemistry 102, Friday, Period 2

It was a rougher commute to class than James expected, frankly. Zooming over lava to get to his morning coffee was bad. Running through a snowman actually helped cool his feet. The Weeping Angel that touched him and sent him back towards his apartment was annoying so screw it, his shoes were lavaed anyway, so he grabbed his Speed Demon gear and just booked it to class.

Along the way he realized that a Weeping Angel was chasing him. And it was keeping up because apparently these things were super fast too!

Well. That was annoying. After taking a route that felt like Yakety Sax should be playing, he finally got into the school, made it to his classroom, ran right to a window, and jumped through it.

Hopefully it would change its mind about eating him or whatever it was going to do and feast on some slow, slow students instead.

No, he wasn't coming back. Sorry guys! You should probably run. But don't blink!
