Today the Danger Shop resembled a somewhat seedy looking bar, with a number of equally seedy looking patrons, many of whom were eyeing Cade the students with suspicion.

"Good afternoon," Bond greeted them. "Now since we're coming up on finals, I would strongly advise you all to spend the next week in either the dorms or the library studying. Possibly longer, since you never know when you'll need a make-up exam. If, however, you feel that you'd be better served studying somewhere in town, then I'd recommend finding at least one study partner." Which was all he was going to say on the matter.

"Now, as for this week's class, I thought it would be prudent to look into what can happen when bluffing fails. Now as it so happens, a friendly game has just turned unfriendly since one of your number has just been accused of cheating." If Bond happened to be looking at Cade right now assuming he was there, well, that was just a coincidence. "What are you going to do now?"

Jono was going to be leaping on the 'no classes' bandwagon today, because any week that had the radio broadcasts mentioning people dying seemed like a good week to not make students walk to the school. Crazy, crazy truth. So he'd sent out an email early in the day, one that stated in no uncertain terms that no manner of live entertainment was worth his students' lives, and then he'd made his way in to the school anyway.

There was no way to be absolutely certain that all of his students had seen the message, of course. But, on top of that, if he arrived first thing in the morning and stayed at the school through the day, he could just hang around outside of the school building to try to keep an eye out for any students who might be trying to make their way in for classes regardless. He was pretty sure the killers out there weren't wandering this close to the school, but he wasn't about to take any chances with the safety of the student body.

... Even if they did seem to be coming back after dying.

[OOC: Open, with Jono hanging around outside, keeping an eye on the space between the school and the dorms all day!]

The library was starting to look a little lived-in, with all the researchers running about. John had brought a box of donuts and thrown it on one table, and chaos was reigning as the books were piling up.

It was the librarian manning the desk today, in between circling the library to check his wards and make sure no one was doing any stupid shite. The "No Guns in the Library" sign was displayed prominently again, and the box below it would be happy to hold your weaponry while you were researching.

Instead of class, Josh sent out an email:

Class cancelled due to excessive Fandom weirdness that means I need to go to the dry cleaners, then get non-bacon smelling shoes. Stay away from the creepy guys around the island, glowing doors, fish and the color purple.

PS: I'm not high, I swear.

Considering that Batman had basically spent two days now brawling with dudes all over Chimera Court, it probably wasn't a surprise that there wasn't a class meeting today. On the other hand, all of his students did get an e-mail.

TO: Criminal Justice Students
FROM: bman@fandomhigh.edu
SUBJECT: Early Final

It's pass/fail in two sections. 1) Help people however you can. 2) Don't die. Permanently, at least. We'll review next week.

For the record, he'd been threatening IT about the e-mail address for months.
