Surf's Up, Wednesday, Period 3

Summer had the Danger Shop set up with a calm surf, bright sun and a warm breeze for the day's lesson. She figured it was just the right mixture to combat the dismal (and somewhat random) weather they'd been having.

Summer had set up an old projector on the beach, a large screen in front of it. "I thought we could watch a quick film about the history of surfing and then get in the water and test out our boards some more."

Library, Wednesday [6/1]

A couple of nights of actual sleep had done a lot to help; Gabrielle might not be in the best of moods today, but it was easier to stay clear-headed and rational when she wasn't completely exhausted.

She still spent most of her shift at the desk bent over her scrolls, lips moving more-or-less silently as she tried to work out turns of phrase, but at least she could focus on her task. It was something. Every now and then her thoughts would drift toward the trip home that she'd now decided was a necessity for the weekend, but as far as she was concerned that was excusable. A little distance would help with her writer's perspective, wouldn't it?

Sex And Candy, Wednesday, Second Period

Cindy had been so busy planning for next class's activity that she'd utterly failed to prepare anything at all for this week's class.

...Movie day it was, then!

"Today we'll be watching The Soldier and Death," she said, putting the DVD into the player and pulling down the screen. "There's popcorn and soda for eating, too, so make yourself comfortable and enjoy the show."
