The Danger Shop had been turned into small bar, with couches and chairs around a few small coffee tables. Handouts with biographies of the confidence people mentioned during the class were there to be taken. Drinks were at the bar, and bowls of chips and plates of appetizers laid out for the students. Sophie might have been taking her cue from play practices, and the feeding of actors.

"Good morning, everyone," Steve said once his workshop had gathered. "I'm Steve Rogers, and this is...Pottery-Making 101. I have to admit I don't know much about pottery-making, but that's fine, right? We'll learn together." He wasn't entirely sure how he'd wound up teaching it, to be honest, but these things would happen at this school, and he was the art teacher. "So, okay, this routine is going to be pretty familiar, guys. Introduce yourself. Name, grade, something about yourself. Then, you each have a lump of clay. This week just play around with it, get a feel for it. We'll actually do things with it next week. Sound good? Good," Steve said without waiting for their response. If it didn't sound good, well, they would have to live with that.

Rick's class would have arrived to find an empty classroom. This was because Rick had forgotten to allow enough time to make a coffee run before class started.

Fraser quite liked having the first class of the day. It meant he got to see the students before anyone else and he got to instill his knowledge before anyone else. He liked knowing that he'd be the first to teach them on Fridays. Today, they were meeting in a regular classroom but that probably wouldn't last.

"Good morning," Fraser said, addressing the class politely. "Welcome to The Five Sense, I'm Constable Benton Fraser. I see some familiar faces and some not so familiar faces but I welcome all of you. If you're here, you'd like to either fine tune or learn how to use each of your five senses. In most of my experience, people tend to rely too heavily on one or two of their senses. They see when they should listen, they touch when they should hear, they smell when they should see. There could be many reasons for that reliance. A past experience might have told them that using one sense is the best way to go, they might not see how using a different sense will help them, and they just might not be able to use a different sense. There are many reasons."

Fraser paused and clasped his hands behind his back. "In this class, we're going to try and break you out of the set molds of wanting to over rely on one sense. You might be a strong smeller but what happens if you touch something instead? Your eyesight might be sharp so that means we'll blindfold you and make you hear. This class is going to be about changing the way you perceive things to both aide and educate you."

At that, Fraser smiled. Even if their senses didn't become stronger, he'd known he at least helped them realize they could. "We're, of course, going to do introductions. I like knowing my students and I think you should know me as well. My name is Benton Fraser, I'm the head of school security and formerly a liaison to the Chicago police department for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I'm getting married in August and I think my strongest sense is my sense of taste. It's very helpful in tracking criminals."

Fraser was just going to leave that there, let them wonder. "Now, it's your turn. Please tell me your name, a little bit about yourself and what you think your strongest sense is. Sound easy? Good. I'll be choosing two TA's during this exercise so be prepared. All right, let's start."

It was Blackagar's fist day on the job, which meant he was slowly wandering up and down the rows of books, becoming acquainted with where everything was. Or, possibly, just looking for something new to read.

Maybe something on Germany!

...or on hair care to give to Medusa, but that was neither here nor there.

This workshop roster was a lot smaller than last term's, and that made things easier to deal with everyone on a one-on-one basis. Hawkeye left a note outside the Danger Shop asking everyone to gather and wait there until it was class time. The doors opened right on time and the students were then able to enter, only to find themselves in a very different environment to the school building they had left.

The room looked exactly like the school gym in the dorms building only it was littered with cots full of injured people, people attending to them and curtained off areas where surgery was going on. More and more wounded people were being brought in and loaded onto cots. Every so often outside there was a thunderous boom and crash coming from somewhere outside making the building rock and shudder from the vibrations. The lights were dimmer than usual and would momentarily dim further after the shaking.

In between loud noises, the gym was surprisingly quiet. Shoes would squeak as people walked on what was once the basketball court. Over near the weights area, doctors would call for a suture or suction or for more light or a new patient to put back together.

Hawkeye, dressed in scrubs, made his way through the foot traffic to his new students.
