The Danger Shop was set up like a movie theatre when the class arrived today, complete with popcorn.

"Sorry, kids," Rick began apologetically. "But I'm afraid my computer died last night while I was getting today's class ready. So instead we'll be watching that filmic masterpiece, Island Prison: OMG Explosions."

[OOC: OCD up.]

Once again, class was being held out near the Preserve so the students could get hands on with their lessons. Fraser was standing at the edge of the woods, hands behind his back. Dief was laying beside him, looking as content as a deaf half wolf could look.

Babbling about plants! )

"Hey guys," Dean said when everyone had filtered in. "Short class today. I'm going to talk a little bit, and then give you an assignment, and you can then brainstorm, or even take off early if you want.

Today we're focusing on toys. )

The class had been told to meet at the end of the Causeway, which was where Mick was waiting. When they'd all arrived, Mick gestured to the portal. "G'day. No idea how this thing works, but it's a little ripper. Bloke says it'll take us straight to Walkabout Creek. Come on." With that, he turned and gestured for the class to follow him through the portal.

Welcome to a land down under. )

[What we've got here is gonna be a whole lotta OCD, and you're just gonna have to wait. The class has actually left Fandom entirely, but a squirrel is welome to smuggle itself along for radio purposes.]

The Danger Shop this week was set up like a doctor's waiting room. Hawkeye was sitting in one corner, feet up on the chair opposite him.

"Take a seat. Not that one. Even the computer couldn't get the stains out of that chair. Welcome to my former haunting grounds in Crabapple Cove, Maine. This week was going to be about burns, stings and shocks, but I'd like to believe you have enough common sense to use what you learned about wounds and CPR to treat anything basic enough for you to do something about it.

Bit of a lecture today )

So today we have a change of plans. We're going to learn what you want to learn. Brainstorm. Think about what you want to get out of this workshop. Draw on personal experience or personal fears. What's something you want to walk out of here at the end of the term knowing?"
