Class was being held in the Danger Shop today. Loki had contemplated actually taking everyone to the mainland and letting them loose but decided he didn't want the paperwork associated with anyone getting arrested. So, the Danger Shop it was.

"Morning, muffins," Loki teased, grinning. "Today, we're going to get going on wrecking your healthy lifestyles. Now, I know most of you probably work out, eat right, get a lot of sleep and that's bullshit. That's restricting yourself from some of the best stuff in life. You only live fucking once so why not make it good? Don't turn your bodies into fucking temples to health food. Give your body what it wants! Give yourself what you want."

Loki got the simulation going and the Danger Shop became a cavernous, huge grocery store. "Today, you're going shopping. This store has everything you could possibly imagine and more. Your job today? Buy unhealthy shit. Buy a lot of it. If I see one healthy thing in your baskets, I'm gonna make you go back for something even unhealthier. The object of this activity is to you thinking with your id. You want to have an eye on things that are good, tasty, delicious, sweet, salty, things like that. You don't want something with a big fucking label telling you it's ninety five percent fat free. No. Today is about wrecking your healthy lifestyles and giving your body what it wants. So, grab a cart and go."

When the students arrived today, they would find themselves in a regular classroom, with a television, bowls of popcorn, and a very angry-looking gazelle.

Ziva really hated the island sometimes.

The note on the board read "Once everyone is here, please press play to start the movie. As you watch, think about the lengths to which you might be willing to go in order to be accepted in a culture, whether it is your own, or one you are visiting."

Don't ask how she managed to get everything set up. It's not like she'd be able to tell you right now anyway.

It was strange for Sam to think about how little time he had left in Fandom, so today, he simply wasn't. He'd found books to read, and he desperately needed to clean out his inbox, so he settled in at the desk to stick to those things and to try not to worry about anything else.

Artie was in the clearing when class was scheduled to begin this time, thankfully. He was in fine form today, too, bouncing around even more manically than before. "Today!" he crowed, "we play the classic game of freeze tag!" He beamed at the students, apparently not the least bit bothered by the fact that he hadn't added anything even remotely odd to the equation, just yet. "That means if someone who is it tags you, you have to freeze until tagged by someone who is not it. No moving! If you move while frozen, your limbs might break off!"

Really, and people let this guy around children.

"You!" He pointed to one of the students. "You're it! And you! And you and you and you. The rest of you are not it. Go forth, vikings! And pirates! Tag!"

"Hopefully you all enjoyed your surprise week off last week," Alysha said once the class was assembled in the Home Ec room. "I'm sorry you missed a class though, and I'll see what I can do about making it up."

At each of the cooking stations was a saran-wrapped ball of pastry dough along with a rolling pin and mat and two pie plates. The island in the center of the room had a selection of fruits.

"What we're doing today is making pie," she explained. "Just basic fruit pie, nothing crazy. I've made everyone enough dough for a double crust pie - that's like an apple pie where there's the crust on the bottom and also covering the fruit. If you want to try your own pie crust as well, there's a recipe at your station that's pretty close to the one I use." Except the aunties would have a conniption fit at the idea of using shortening instead of lard in a pie crust. Thankfully they weren't there. No really, no one wanted that.

"First, go ahead and figure out what kind of pie you want to make. There's a bunch of different pie filling recipes up here to work from. Then roll out your pie crust, fill it, and pop it in the oven."

"As always, I'm around if you have any questions at all. I'd recommend the blueberries or rhubarb if you're not sure what fruit to use. They're both in season. Apple's always good too though."
