The bell rang and Gibbs breezed into the room and started handing out the test before any of the students were really in their seats yet.

"This is your final exam," he growled as he tossed them on each desk. "Answer them to the best of your ability and don't even think of cheating."

Of course what Gibbs didn't know is that while trying to get some tech support on how to use Microsoft Word a certain goth lab rat might have done some slight... editing to Gibbs's test.

Which might be why Gibbs will not understand why anyone might be snickering during the test.

Dan couldn't believe this was the last day of the semester. He had never had a school year go so fast. It helped that he wasn't made fun of all the time here. Constant teasing has a way of making things go slower.

"Good morning!" Steve said. "I want to let you know you've been a wonderful class this semester. Your final exam is already on your desk." Each desk had a piece of paper turned face-down on it, indeed. "Do not look at them until I tell you to, or I will take points. They will be in essay form." Steve liked essays. Kids these days didn't learn to write well enough; they needed more practice. He gestured to the plate of fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies on his desk and said, "Help yourselves to the cookies, write your exams, and then you're free to go. You may begin...now."

It was the last day of the regular school year and Ronon really didn't expect to see many people trying to get their studying going on.

Finals were ending, so he figured they should be hitting the beach. It's what he would be doing if he had the choice.

"Well, you guys didn't do well enough in the Family Feud a couple weeks ago so there will be no pizza today," Jim said, shooting an apologetic glance at the camera. "But I do have a test for you. I know you probably weren't expecting an actual final from me, but sometimes you need to prove that you can run a tight ship."

"I wrote the whole thing in 20 minutes and I'm not sure people could find it serious if they tried," Jim told the camera. "I think I'm the reason teachers usually need to go to school and get certified."

*****

"Anyway, here's the test. You've been a great class. Good luck and I hope you end up with a job you love."
