It was the first class back after Spring Break and Loki looked relaxed and tanned while eating a Pop Tart at the front of the room. He waited till everyone had filed in and settled down before getting up and starting in on the class.

"Oh, that week off didn't last long enough, kids," Deadpool informed them, taking a nice, healthy sip of his completely PG coffee that wasn't Irished up in the slightest.

Really.

"So! In show business, which there is no business like, they say never work with kids or animals. Which means ya'll need to take pictures with kids and animals for my amusement and for real life experience in the matter blah blah blah. We all know this class is for funsies. Unless our T.A. is harboring dreams of making it big as the next Ashton Kutcher. In which case... dream big. Dream big."

And ignore the weird meta. Please?

"Get to posing with them!"

There were doughnuts on the snack table today . . . and grapes, because that was what happened when Gabrielle picked out the food. She'd retained a small bowl of grapes for herself and was picking at it while people arrived.

"Hi, everyone," Gabrielle said finally when it looked like everyone was present and accounted for. "Hopefully you all had a good break. Mine was definitely eventful." With a grape popped into her mouth for emphasis.

"As was mine." Emmett eyed her. "Probably not the same events, unless you're way less vanilla than I had you pegged."

Gabrielle looked at him askance, her mouth hanging halfway open. "Hey, for all you know, I didn't look like me."

Askance didn't begin to cover Emmett's look. "...Paolo??"

"It's like you're speaking a different language." Flinging up her hands in a gesture of exasperation that was probably going to get really familiar to everyone if she had to deal with Emmett every week, she sighed and shook her head. "Anyway, this isn't the GSA because Fandom doesn't really need a conventional one. Fandom's unconventional in a lot of ways, as I think we all know by now, and that includes certain problems we're not likely to be dealing with anywhere else. Like waking up to find out you, or someone you care about, isn't in their usual body."

Hey. It was a typical Fandom problem. It wasn't like she had it on her mind for other reasons. As far as you knew.

"Like, say, when they spontaneously turn into an animal, or wake up the wrong gender like we all did that one day," she clarified.

Emmett was still eying her, but at least it wasnt with mild horror anymore. "Tell me more about this suddenly turning into an animal." No, Em. Not like that.

"How about not?" Gabrielle segued briefly into a muttered tirade about tossing him into a pit with certain crazed warrior women who just couldn't stay in Tartarus where they belonged, and probably none of that was intelligible to anyone who wasn't from crazy world. "But that's my question for the day. How much do appearances really matter to you, when it's someone you care about?"

A beat, a blink, and she looked at Emmett again. "What does vanilla have to do with anything?"

This was so not the meeting to try to explain that. "...It's in the cupcakes."

George had asked to swap days and really, it wasn't as if Griff had anything going on that he couldn't do from the comfort of the circulation desk.

Normal work stuff completed quickly, Griff opened up his sketchbook and started drawing. It was really unfortunate how Kemp's face was burned so deeply into Griff's memory that he could've completed the sketch with his eyes closed.

But the library was open!

Rick sadly had lost the cassock and glasses since the class had seen him last, and they were meeting in an ordinary classroom again.

"Movie day," Rick said, brandishing a remote and gesturing to the popcorn he'd thoughtfully provided. "But that does not mean a slack off day. We'll be watching a caper flick involving a group of young women about your age pulling off something quite close to a perfect crime. So I want you to take careful notes in anticipation of the final."

Today, Hoshi brought a pineapple upside down cake. "It's to make up for the fact that we're not on spring break anymore," she explained as she handed out slices. "Seriously, I am amazed at how well this week's paper turned out even though we had a week off. Give yourselves a pat on the back, and then let's see what we can do better for next week's edition."
